I went into this branch with my mother's death certificate and my identification and, although I was listed as a joint owner on her account, they created every obstacle possible so that I could not access her money. Shame on anyone who misbehaves in this manner, especially in a bereavement situation

Sadly this review will impact Chase as a whole, when it is only the Monroe Louisiana Stubbs and 18th Street branch. I've been given mixed messages about who is the manager of this Branch, but it is either Latetao Hutchinson (per Chase Customer Service) or Mary McDaniels (per the branch employees). I made a request for clarification from Chase Customer Service about their policy, but was told a supervisor would call me in one or two-days.I normally deal with other Chase branches and have no complaints with their service and professionalism. Again this review is this specific branch and manager (the inside tellers were very gracious and apologetic).I went to the drive thru to withdraw a large amount of cash to take to another bank. I have done this numerous times at other branches with no issue. I withdraw cash and drive to deposit at the other bank; drive through to drive through, because I am not comfortable with that much unsecured cash. The drive through employee said I had to go in to get that amount because they didn't have cameras in the drive through. She said that was Chase policy. Went inside completed the transaction after a short wait. Asked the teller to speak to the manager for clarification on why this Branch was different. She did not come out, but sent word by the teller that it wasn't Chase policy but the policy at this specific branch. It was for customer safety.This manager thinks it is safer for me to come into a populated lobby, announce that I am withdrawing thousands of dollars in cash, and then walk to my car in the parking lot, instead of getting an envelope via a drive through drawer. Please look at crime statistics for Monroe Louisiana to see how laughable this decision is.Again this is not Chase but the individual branch, and Ms. McDaniels who told the teller this was this branch's policy.I would like to repeat, this review should only be for this branch and manager, not the inside tellers or chase as a whole.

I have been a Chase customer for over 10 years. The company has constantly declined the entire time. I will be closing my accounts and moving to a credit union.

My daughter was charged an $8.00 fee for cashing a scholarship check written from an account with Chase. It's a shame that banks feel they are justified in charging fees for cashing a check written on account with them. So, you took $8.00 from her Scholarship money for something that cost you nothing!!! Hey, but as long as everyone with Chase is sleeping well at night who cares! This is one child starting her first year at college this fall that will never do business with Chase.

Went in at about 10AM, no appointment. Was greeted as soon as I walked in by a teller. She asked if I needed help and I told her I needed to open a business account. She had a lady in the office come greet me and she took me to the Branch Manager's Office. I sat down and we started the process. It took almost 45 minutes but that was due to all the paper work entailed. I had all the documents needed with me so there were no delays. The Manager and her assistant were courteous and took care of everything. They even printed me some temporary checks, ordered a debit card, wrote down their contact information and sent me on my way.

Myself and wife went there to talk to a banker and went through the line and they told us to have seat. We waited and waited now a guy came bye whom works as a investor she let me get someone sir very nice guy and came and said ok sir someone will be with u all. The manager that's on duty told the lady next to her to come help us well my wife was in the restroom and I told the lady that it was good that I was ready. Bye this time it's busy again and the banker lady ask the manager and said that it's busy again you want me to help them she said no I can't believe how long I waited for help at this bank about an hour wait I will never go to this branch again poor customer service! !!
