My mom bought a recliner from Burns and Newell. After 2-3 months of use the leather on the corner of the foot rest has totally worn out and is just a giant bald spot. She has called Burns and Newell 6 times. The first time she was told they would order her a replacement foot rest and repair the issue. She has called back 5 times over 6-8 months and they won’t return her phone calls. Pretty sad excuse for customer service.

This is the first time I have ever written a review. I ALWAYS read them but never take the time to write one. We started looking for furniture in oct 2020, we were closing on our new house in jan. I really prefer to see what im buying, sit on it, lay on it, open the drawers as opposed to buying on line. I found our bedroom set at ashleys, it consisted of a king bed with storage, 2 nightstands, dresser and chest. I immediately fell in love, it was excatly what I was looking for!! And because it was so perfect i didnt mind the high price, i was replacing our bedroom set that we had for 22 years. It was 5500 plus tax and delivery fee. When I went to burns and newell, my first time there I was greeted by tim and not in a pushy way at all, in a way im here if ya need me. I noticed they carried ashley products so i showed him a pic of the set I wanted and he said he could order it and give me a good deal. My jaw hit the floor when he quoted more than HALF off ashleys price!!! And NO delivery fee AND no tax as a courtesy because my husband is a vet! I was in shock at the markup on furniture, the honesty of the salesman standing in front of me!! He said if I find any furniture anywhere, he would see if he could order it and give me a better deal. Well I went on the hunt, I found the couch i wanted at burneys for 999.00 and we needed 2 of them, Tim got them for 390 each!!! We ordered all our furniture through him. So I went in yesterday to set up delivery, i needed it on sat and they dont deliver on sat but he said he would make it work even if he had to come in himself. Our bedroom set wont be in till april??? but this is not his fault, its due to covid. I know things happen that are out of our control, i honestly dont mind waiting because i love it so much and know that we will have it for many years to come. But tim insisted that when they deliver our other furniture on sat that he will also bring a frame so our mattress are not on the floor. AND when I went in yesterday they are having a huge sale this month because they have been in business 50 years, so he took off even more money from what i was gonna originally pay. I am in no way knocking ashleys or burneys but i have never recieved this kind of service anywhere!! So i suggest you go everywhere, look online, find what you want then take it to tim and i guarantee if he can get it, it will be way cheaper!!!

They always have good selections and fair prices. Their service is good too. I've bought most of my furniture from here over the years simply because of both pricing & personal service. Definitely recommend this place.

To amend my previous review, I was contacted by Tim Glover today 01-21-2019 who informed me that the love seat we ordered would be arriving at their store the next day and asked for a convenient delivery date. He offered me three choices of dates and times. This is customer service at its finest. Thanks Tim and Burns and Newel.
