As a beginner in yoga, I was somewhat apprehensive; but Ms. Donna is a gem and was patient and encouraging, as well as the other class participants. I'm looking forward to this new journey in YOGA.

DAWN ETHERIDGE EAKIN I have never been late to class or to pay my 5$. I am the person who usually prepays by the month. Your false accusations are hurtful and very unprofessional. And I have Never been disrespectful. As a matter of fact I have never uttered a word in your class. You must have me confused with someone else. I enjoy your class and will continue to come.

Blue Sky Yoga is a fantastic place to learn yoga or continue to develop your practice in a loving, gentle, and supportive community environment. Donna Ponder, the owner, has a heart of gold. The studio offers a variety of classes: power flow, yin, kundalini, meditation, sound baths, and more....something for every level. All of the teachers are wonderful. This place is my home away from home. I moved to Monroe a year ago, and Donna took me in with open arms. Blue Sky is a place where I can get some good physical activity, but also a place for me to find solace and quiet my overactive mind. I've found friends here and tapped into a beautiful, open-minded community of yogis in Northeast LA. Namaste y'all!

I visit a lot of yoga studios and I mean A LOT! Because I've taken classes for so many years, my expectations are high. I'm not looking for perfection but for a safe and thoughtful session with challenge and great transitions. I was thrilled, when based on only 2 yelp reviews, I was able to find an amazing place. First of all, Donna, the owner and teacher was very welcoming on the phone. She totally got that I was in town for work for one night only and never put the sales pitch on me. She just wanted me to come and get the knots out of my back after a six hour drive.

First of all, Donna, the owner and teacher was very welcoming on the phone. She totally got that I was in town for work for one night only and never put the sales pitch on me. She just wanted me to come and get the knots out of my back after a six hour drive. Her studio is stunning. From the stained concrete floors, to the gray blue walls that changed colors as the sun was going down to the amazing wood cathedral ceiling with gentle lights strung across the room, I felt ensconced in comfort. I saw the shelves fully stocked with yoga equipment. The music was soothing. The participants, who were clearly "regulars" went out of their way to greet me and made room for me. She made a quick announcement about an upcoming event where a master yogi was coming to town and encouraged the group not to miss this event. We started class. Her directions were clear, easy to follow and she moved from one part of the room so we all knew what we were doing next. One pose was totally out of my range because my hip flexors were so tight from the car ride. She came behind me and gently got me into the pose. It was awesome. I felt fierce and accomplished. The final resting pose was capped off when she placed a cool, clean stone on each person's forehead. I had never experienced that before and it was lovely! She's moving to a new place. I will definitely track her down. PS the class price was totally affordable and worth every penny!

I took advantage of the $30 for 30 unlimited days special when I started yoga. Donna, the owner, was sweet as pie. She was a great a teacher and she answered all of my questions. During practice the teachers would correct my poses if needed (I like that). The facility was clean and cozy.

Love the new classes that aren't so hot. I tried three teachers and loved them all. All the props are very accessible and plentiful. Super excited about this great place to practice.
