I can’t say the same for the person who called me from Dallas to notify me of a hacking attempt on my account. Most unprofessional. I thought it was a scam and hung up. “I personally love banking with pelican. I was introduced to pelican in 2017 here in Shreveport Louisiana. I no longer have a local branch and until today I realized how inconvenient that could be. I will continue to bank with them but it would be nice to have a branch where I can go in and handle business. I understand it was my choice to continue to bank with pelican after the local branch shut down but when you enjoy working and being a customer with pelican you can understand why I stayed. The only inconvenience I have run into is that I need to sign some very important documents to and I have to drive two hours from my home to the nearest branch. I feel there should be some kind of way I should be able to to visit a shared branch to sign documents. I am truly sorry to say within the next few months I will have to depart because of the inconvenience of the branch locations. I will truly appreciate all the help pelican has helped me with but I need a local branch.”
