When I entered Arlette’s for the first time, Madi was randomly assigned to cut my hair. Let me just say that this young lady did a fabulous job cutting my hair, based on my vision for a new hairstyle that I shared with her. Madi gained my confidence in her creativity, and my business as a new customer. Thanks, Madi!

Thank you Sydney for the cut and color. The services at this salon are reasonably priced. Perhaps turn down the music or experiment with some nice meditative or instrumental music. The stuff they were playing was a little much. Might I recommend "Hotel Costes" or similar?

I set up this Yelp account to simply talk about Arlette. Sadly, my experiences with the small business have not been satisfactory. First off, I would like to take a moment to appreciate the vibe. If you're looking for friendly faces with some laid-back decor, this is the place for you. However, I personally have had only two interactions with this business. Both interactions have not been ideal. I went to Arlette to get my eyebrows done for the first time. I went with my sister and we both got our brows tinted. We specifically said that we wanted light brows. My brows turned out way too dark for my hair color, and my sister's brows were entirely uneven. One of her brows was much darker than the other. Since we got our brows waxed after getting them dyed, this caused the woman who is doing her wax to get a little bit confused. She basically shredded my sister's eyebrows because she could not see them since my sister and I both have very naturally light brows. Given this, I must admit that my brows were pretty good. After they showed us what our brows looked like, we were clearly disappointed. However, they continued to gaslight us, and tell us that we looked amazing... We did not! Since I wanted my lashes tinted as well, I had to come back two days later at 3 o'clock alone this time. I walked in at 3 o'clock, and the woman at the desk told me that it would be a few minutes before the lash lady was able to see me. I waited for the lady for an hour and a half. An hour and a half! AN HOUR AND A HALF!!! clearly, I was pissed by the time I got back there to get my lashes done. It took about 15 minutes to do my lashes, and when she gave me a mirror to see how I looked, I could've cared less about my lashes. I was so annoyed because of the wait that I didn't even care about the lashes that I've been waiting to lusciously flaunt for years. I left the establishment around 5 o'clock, went home, figured out how to set up a Yelp account, and I started writing this review. My lashes look okay I guess, but does that really even matter? Again, I would like to say that I think Arlette does a mediocre job at best when it comes to brows and lashes. Not horrible; not amazing. However, given these two incidents, I do not see myself ever walking through those doors again. I would like my story to be a cautionary tale. If you want to go to Arlette, please do and I hope you have a fabulous experience. But I must warn you... fear all ye enter here.

Poor Rebecca, she probably hates for folks to learn she cuts my hair!! I can hardly blame her, I'm so inconsistent in making and keeping my appointments! But......she is always very gracious, kind and complimentary. When I walk out of her salon I always feel SO WONDERFUL!! I trust her and the rest of her staff fully and completely. I talked with her awhile ago and it was agreed that Saturday morning at 11:00 she is going to make me look 40 years younger so that they can hopefully impress an old boyfriend whom I haven't seen in over 40 years!! Heck, I will settle for looking 3 days younger!!! LOL!!

Never again will I go here. I somehow came out with my hair in worse condition than it was. And no one bothered to tell me that only apprentices were working aLONE and my hair needed serious professional help. I’m horrified and I feel used because someone didn’t want to admit that they didn’t know what to do. And now my hair is falling out. So thanks. But don’t recommend at all.
