I took my 5 month old in on a Friday afternoon due to our regular clinic being closed. The staff here are unprofessional and do not seem to care about the patient. The lady that examed my baby not only did not due a proper exam. Infact when the light instrument wouldnt work she just skipped that part instead of getting one that worked. She seemed very insecure in her abilty and knowledge or maybe she just didnt really care. She said she wasnt sure what was going on and she was going to consult the doctor. She came back in with our paperwork and perscription. The "DR" without ever looking at my son wrote a perscription. When we went to the pharmacy and I was told what antibiotic they gave I was not comfortable with it due to a family history of issues with that specific medication. The pharmcist called and asked if they would send something else due to my concerns. The Dr refused to do that. I have never felt so unheard or less cared for by any medical professional. Every patient is different and there is no cookie cutter diagnosis. If they do not care about the patient they should find another career. Their life could be in the balance while you go home to your family

The care you need from a clinic is important when you are sick. The nurses and the doctor was the best ever today. Couldn’t get appointment with my primary care physician. Called Affinity clinic, they held my place for a walk in appointment. They take care of you from start to finish. Have never had a bad experience from this clinic. Highly recommend Affinity Clinic location Monroe La. My symptoms were addressed and got the attention I needed. They were busy but not a wait like ER at hospital. Thank you!

I would give negative stars if I could. This is the worst clinic I’ve ever had experiences with. We have been numerous times only due to everything else being closed. But it is a waste of time and I leave angry every time.
They have misdiagnosed multiple times and do not listen to their patients.
Example,
I went in lethargic, vomiting, fever, and severe pain in my left shoulder. The doctor wouldn’t do blood work and insisted I had a viral infection and was sending me home. It wasn’t until I noticed (while waiting for go home papers) I was draining green from a recent surgery that he decided to run blood work and my white count was 21,000. He then sent me to the er. I had a MRSA staph infection. By the time I got to the hospital I was almost septic. If I would have went home like he said it could have been bad.
They also said my daughter has a virus but she actually had a uti.
I called at 8:15 the other night and asked about the wait and there was only one person so we went on. We got there right before 9. One person in the waiting room and she turned us away. They close at 10. I said you could have told me that on the phone.
This place should be shut down. They are useless and rude. Do not waste your time here.

I visited this clinic a year ago for an upper respiratory infection, seeking specific tests for my condition.
The nurse insisted I take a COVID test, which I declined. When Dr. Norman William entered, he did not ask about my symptoms or medical history.
Instead, he focused on my refusal to take the COVID test, making me feel belittled and uncomfortable.
He quickly diagnosed me with a viral infection, and said it was COVID, without conducting any proper examination such as listening to my lungs, checking my throat, or even considering my detailed medical history of respiratory issues.
When I mentioned my history of respiratory infections, the fact that I was suffering from green and yellow infection in my lungs that I was coughing up, and the past recommendation to remove my scarred tonsils, he dismissed my concerns without a thorough examination.
He insisted that my symptoms were merely mucus without evidence and did not offer appropriate tests. I had to request a streptococcus test myself.
He reluctantly performed a white blood cell count and didnt tell me what it was called. He gave me the acronym for the test and I cad to ask him to clarify what the test was and its purpose, and he finally diagnosed me with a sinus infection, a bacterial issue contrary to his initial viral diagnosis.
Throughout the visit, Dr. William was rude, unprofessional, and dismissive. He called me ignorant and obstinate for knowing and asserting my patient rights, creating an atmosphere so tense that I had to call my husband/ then fiancé to come back into the room for support.
The nurse displayed similar frustration, making the environment uncomfortable. This was my second negative experience at this clinic.
Previously, my then fiancé visited for severe headaches and felt similarly dismissed by another doctor. He was treated poorly as well, even though he was incredibly cooperative with whatever testing they wanted him to do.
Doctors should listen to patients and provide appropriate care without coercion or disrespect. My experience was distressing and unsatisfactory.
Until there are significant improvements in the professionalism and bedside manner of the staff, especially Dr Noman, I cannot recommend this clinic.

They aren’t even closed but turned my 8 year old sick son away because they had supposedly reached capacity. There maybe 4 there. A sick child! Pitiful & should be ashamed!

Norman B Williams is a horrible doctor. He spoke to me like I was ignorant and beneath him. He denied everything I said about my eye even tho my optometrist told be different. This guy looked at my eye for less than a second and diagnosed me didn't do any tests or anything. He was in an out under 2 minutes
And also he asked who my primary Healthcare provider was I said I'm sorry I don't know how I never go to the doctor. He said yea you do know it's on your card. I said I don't know I'm sorry he said well you need to k own if your wanting our free you need to know your Healthcare proveider. He talked to me like I waS a dog the whole 2 minutes he was InThe room. Will never go back their again.

I took my son in to the clinic on a Saturday due to constant coughing. Once diagnosed the provider informed me she was unable to prescribe him anything and that I had to pretty much let it run its course or wait until MONDAY to contact his PCP. I explained I have been doing over the counter treatments and nothing was working and was there ANYTHING she could do.. She finally offered a breathing treatment and machine. Why wasn’t that offered at first? Also they didn’t want give him and excuse for school knowing he was running fever and told me he could not go back until fever free for 24hrs hour without meds. I informed them I had made contact with his PCP and was waiting on a call back to see if he could be seen by them. Overall the rudeness and the lack of concern is very aggravating. Nobody is just letting their child keep coughing and not try to get them help. Also, nobody is just keeping their child out school for no reason. Definitely will try to avoid going back to Affinity if I can.

If I could give 0 stars I would. The doctor was very dismissive and discriminatory towards us because we are black and my grandson is mixed. The doctor told me my 11 month old grandson had a viral rash, that is was not an amoxicillin rash and it was okay to continue giving it to him. Guess what he lied it was an allergic reaction to amoxicillin and we were supposed to have stopped using it immediately said his PCP! He could have hurt this baby! Also the male nurse who came in and asked did the doctor explained to us the discharge papers was rude. When we told him no the doctor said he was coming back and never did he looked like he was upset because told him no. My grandson PCP provided him a steroid and cream for the rash something AFFINITY should have done. I will never come back in this place after I return to speak to a manger or someone over this clinic!!!!
