Only place in minden I will stop for my gas and to grab something out of their hotbox. Great food on their menu too. The people who work there are always friendly and accommodating.

This place is conveniently located in a gas station at Exit 47/I-20. They serve a lot of different cuisine, but they have several types of hamburgers. The burger is good, but just not what it used to be. The meat is a home made patty, but it was just a little bland. They come with seasoned fries. It's not bad, but average. If you are in the area, it's worth a stop. It's definitely a step up from fast food burgers.

So I am once again I'm not from Minden Louisiana. I'm always looking for nice places to eat. My friend Citlaly suggested I go to Valero for my lunch. I'm thinking are you really suggesting I go to a gas station LOL. She was like it will change your life LOL. So today I decided to gold and I'm really happy I did. Rachel was so nice and Miss Tammy is always a pleasure. Such a beautiful store and the food was beyond good. Bravo you guys Bravo. I'll see y'all again soon.

This is a REAL CREOLE cafe. In a gas station. In Louisiana. As always. XOXO If you like some Louisiana real creole style red beans and rice you can get it here. Not that "Broussard's" crap. This is authentic. Best Creole red beans & rice. And their homemade yellow corn muffins are lightly sweet, moist inside, crunchy outside. The BOMB! :)... LOVE! They also serve pecan praline community coffee! GET IT! :)' Laissez Les "Bon Temps" Rouler! Highly recommend.

People would think that gas station little cafes or food wouldn't be that good but the food was amazing here, my daughter who's 5 will be 6 in 2 months is a picky eater so I got her something simple which was a burger which is what she wanted cause I asked her and she ate the whole burger and some of her fries and normally she wouldn't eat all food and she kept saying that it was good so I would say they did a good job and the lady at the register that was working there today was very nice and sweet and respectful and she even let my daughter have a peppermint of course my daughter was all smile. I had the alligator poboy which I never knew they could put alligator on a poboy but it actually was good. My fiancé used to stop here all the time when he got off work and got gas and got him some food, he's the one that recommended we eat here.

Great place to stop if you are on a road trip. Red beans and rice with home made cake. The staff and locals very friendly.

This is a Valero gas station, not a place where I would normally eat unless it was the only place open. Our host at the Best Western hotel suggested we eat here, and since it was short walk, we did. What a surprise! There is a deli inside that serves great sandwiches! I had a muffuletta that was excellent. My wife had a sandwich, rice, beans, and sausage- very spicy, but enough to share. Really good Louisiana customers!
