If you want to work with a group of inexperienced non-professionals, Hancock-Whitney is your place. They are not subject matter experts in anything. They have no knowledge of their products or services. They are not responsive and display a lackadaisical attitude towards customers of certain backgrounds. Realtors expressed their frustration with depending on their teams to process loans and get buyers seamlessly to closing, but I regretfully moved forward with working with them. I am filing a complaint with the Federal Trade Commission immediately. My lending agent shared personal, financial information with my real estate agent that she did not even share with me! Their unethical practice is where I decided to draw the line.

Fantastic experience. Upon entering the bank I was greeted by an armed guard. We spoke for a few minutes and I thanked him for service to our country. I was greeted immediately by a teller at which time I told her I wanted to open a new small business checking account. I was immediately introduced to Jared Rodriguez, senior client solution specialist. Jared was incredible! He explained Hancock Whitney is not like other banks rather they are OLD SCHOOL. They practice personal relationships, one on one banking! I was thrilled there are no gimics or false promises with advertising mailers. Jared explained my choices and made it EASY! He is absolutely fantastic to work with. I was so impressed with everyone's professionalism and kindness. Thank you!

Worst bank in the entire region. Whitney used to be a good bank, but once they merged with Hancock, they went downhill. Lots of extra charges, changes in policies, and little to no regard for customers.

It is hard getting to the bank when trying to match up working the standard 40 hour work week and banking hours. This can be made even worse when someone at said bank makes it an unpleasant experience most of the time. Truthfully, I was almost ready to give up on Whitney bank because of too many of these types of interactions, so naturally when I rolled in at 4:40p, I was expecting more of the same. As luck would have it, I was greeted by Mr. Jeremy Whipple. He was immediately courteous and helpful, answering my questions and LISTENING to my concerns. Within 15 minutes, I had a new Silver Savings account, copies of my paperwork, and some helpful ideas about building more credit. Even more, I felt like I was not alone in my struggles because he had taken the time to relay some of his families own similar situations. I will never bank anywhere else and that is ALL due to the respect and customer service shown to me by Mr. Whipple.
