I came to pick up a prescription the Er phone in for my grandson. The cashier named Keinta went over and beyond to get my his insurance information situation. Needless to say I received his medication very fast. No wait at all!!! She should be a sitting example to anyone in customer service. Everyone else was professional aslo, while taking care of other customers.

Update: Another great experience! The pharmacist work hard and fast here not to mention the techs! Brittany was super sweet and professional. This bunch is the best in metairie compared to all other pharmacy’s I been too this is the best by far.
Kristen really went above and beyond to assist me today! She made this experience much better then the past ones I had !0

Today I went to pick up a prescription. I know it’s the beginning of the year and they could cost more. But I handed them a coupon and told them that it goes with my insurance. they said that they couldn’t use the coupon. I had to call my insurance company and ask about pricing. The coupon has nothing to do with my insurance company. I’ve used it every time I’ve picked up my prescription. My dad even picked up a prescription and the checkout lady used a coupon that was on her keychain, but the blonde pharmacist told me “call my insurance company. It was busy and she doesn’t have time to help me. “ When I asked what her name was, she refused to give it to me. If you got your drugs at this pharmacy run, change pharmacies! The blonde pharmacist is too busy to help you or answer your questions.

Slowest drive thru of any drug store I have ever experienced. Either the pharmacy techs are incompetent or their procedures are archaic. I’ve spent upwards of a half hour waiting in line for my prescriptions.

They tell you your prescription will be ready in a couple of hours, I have been waiting now close to 5 hours. They are so slow filling I don't want to go back there any more. Really slow service.

Beyond understaffed!! Employees are AWFUL!
Horrible experience. Worst Walgreens experience I’ve ever had. I witnessed another employee disrespect someone horribly also.
Will NOT be back.

The pharmacist’s are thief’s as the screwed me out of 13 adderal and I didn’t realize it till I got in my car to count them so I went back in and was told they looked at the camera they said they saw 60 pills that were counted twice so now that I see another person who had the same issue I will do whatever I have to( hire an attorney) who can deal with these lying thief’s. I’ll sue them to when I am withdrawing from that medication because of their ignorance. I wouldn’t be surprised if one of the employees behind that counter took them because adderal is often used as a recreational drug. It is like speed to one who doesn’t have ADD so I can’t wait to sue them ignorant losers

Says this is a 24 hour store and pharmacy. However went to pick up my prescriptions at 6:30 am and the pharmacy was closed.

Pharmacy is impossible. Be prepared to wait. *Literally hours.* They are nice, but they are completely overwhelmed. Only came here bc they’re the only ones open at this time. I would never ever go to any Walgreens ever for the pharmacy. Ever.

My regular pharmacy as well as others in the area were out of a particular medication. However this Walgreen’s had it in stock and Barry was very helpful in filling it and getting it out to me in a timely manner.

Always loved going here it's been mad place to pick up my prescriptions for 20 years and I'll be my place to pick up my prescriptions for another twenty years cuz they got Cheryl's said procedures and your great staff at every location.
