I want to thank Dr. Lauren Griffin for her innate kindness, and care, in helping me get the perfect prescription for a pair of glasses for motorcycle riding. I haven't seen anything like it in years. No doubt, my vision has been a bit hazy from my past, but it became crystal clear! Shout out to all the kind staff, with Melinda adding her expertise in fitting, along with Megan.

I had an appointment with this company on 04/30/22. I should have left when I heard another customer fuss about how they messed up her Ray-Ban glasses and removed the label. Then another customer walked in with his son and they messed up her son's sport lenses. My experience was that they didn't have a wide selection of frames to choose from and their customer service was not great. I called maybe 2 days later and told them that I was not satisfied and to refund my money. I told them that I didn't want the glasses that I had purchased. They gave me my patient portion back for the frames, but not the copay for the exam. Now let's fast forward to now. I went to get my exam with another company on Saturday, and I was told that my benefits were used and paid out by my insurance company. I called Vision Works immediately because why would you expect payment from my insurance company when services were not rendered? They had no response but to tell me that my claim was old. IDK how old my claim was, you should not have accepted a payment from my insurance if you knew you did not render the service. That is called INSURANCE FRAUD. And if it was not brought to my attention on Saturday, you guys would have gotten away with this. Now it makes me wonder how many other customers they have done this to. AVOID THIS COMPANY AT ALL COSTS. Because I can see this company going down real soon for insurance fraud and still money from insurance.

Excellent business. Great place to get good glasses, but insurance issues aren't handled well if there's the slightest issue. Other than that Excellent service, great selection and friendly staff.

First off I'd like to say the young lady working there yesterday was delightful. She was the only one. When I went in just a little after 9am for my scheduled exam there were 2 gentlemen customers and the receptionist/ sales person in the building. One gentlemen appeared to be upset mumbling something about not having time for this and leaving. The other was looking at frames. I went up to the receptionist and let her know I was there for my exam. Immediately a look of worry came across her face. She let me know "We don't have a doctor scheduled for this morning so it will have to be a tele-health appointment." I was surprised and actually said "They can do that?? Okay why not?" She smiled and said great. That there was one person ahead of me. I let her know that was fine then said "Not to be 'that guy' but would you have a guess as to how long I'll be waiting for my virtual appointment?" She said "You've been really nice so I want to be honest. It'll be about a hour and a half. We have to call doctors to see if they will take the apt. & sometimes we wake them up." She started apologizing profusely. I told her how much I appreciated her honesty and let her know I understood she was doing her best to keep business going that morning but declined and let her know I'd be going somewhere else and hoped her day got better. This review is isn't about her. She was AMAZING, doing her best in a crappy situation. It is for VisionWorks corp. DO BETTER! It is unacceptable to put one of your employees in this situation where they are having to cover the shortcomings of inadequate management or physicians. This is how you lose good employees like this young lady.

Zoom call with optometrist
I did not like the zoom call, would not do zoom call again.
They should tell patients if the patient will see a real optometrist in person or it will be a zoom call. If I was told it was a zoom call, I would’ve canceled the appointment.

I would recommend VisionWorks to my family and friends, they were on time and explained all my needs, I felt very comfortable like I was surrounded by family…keep up the good work!

They scheduled me on a Saturday morning, and when I came, they told me they had nothing in the system. I understand it happened, but their attitude made feel it's my fault and they weren't very happy to assist me. Very unpleasant experience

Dr. L.Griffin took her time with the eye exam and explained my results very thoroughly and what would be my next steps to be made in the future. She made my day so special.
