The Fresh Market has some of the best produce in the New Orleans area. Also, their ground chuck deal on Tuesdays is awesome.

A very intriguing market where you can find a host of great items and deals. I love the many healthier choices they have as opposed to other grocery stores. I enjoy looking around their deli. They have an array of delicious looking prepared foods and quite a few options to choose from. The meat section is filled with fresh looking seafood as does the produce section with their veggies. Some store items are a little bit on the pricey side but when you check out the sales on their app, you'll be sure to find some savings. Oh and that bakery! My goodness, they have the freshest and tastiest desserts and baked goods you could ever imagine. While I don't eat a lot of sweets, I do have a sweet tooth craving every now and then. I enjoy the slices of cakes, especially the lemon blueberry. It has depth of flavor with a twist of healthy thrown in for you because of the lemon and blueberries LOL!!! The store feels like a little grocery boutique. It reminds me of the Westside Market in NYC. They are smaller than most chain grocers but is packed with tons of great items. The Fresh Market is a definite yes for me!

This is your high end grocery store that is to die for something very similar to a Bristol Farms, AJ's that has a lot of imported foods and organic produce . They have a huge selection of oils and spices as well as an olive bar and gourmet coffee stand. I came in to purchase ingredients for my shrimp and avocado salad by No means was it cheap but my salad turned out to be super delicious. The fresh meat looked like it had been sold out there was very little to choose from so I was kind of stuck purchasing frozen shrimp and well I didn't go to New Orleans to buy frozen shrimp but what can a girl do and at No point did anyone bother to ask me if they could help me with anything so I feel lack of stock and customer service can of made me think twice about paying more to shop at a nicer store but you'll definitely find some really nice stuff here.

Fresh Market is truly a family neighborhood market. I have shopped there off an on for the past few years for their weekly family meals.A friend of mine told me I should become a member so I would receive the weeky sales/specials. I ordered the Big Game Special for this evening. When I picked it up there were a few items missing - the staff just wasn't familiar with the special. I pulled it up on my phone and Terrell helped us pull it together. I can't say enough about Terrell and this store. He was accomodating and the kindest person. I frequently go to the butcher shop and they are always kind and helpful. Can't say enough about this store - it is the best!!! Terrell, thank you for helping my daughter and I out today. Your kindess is greatly appreciated. Congratulations to the managment, you are doing a great job hiring the best people.

This is a comment on one department, not the whole store. The candy/nut/snack mix dispenser choices are extensive. However, enough people must not be buying it. Every item I've purchased there has been totally STALE.

Was a regular at this store for a few years always bought the ground chuck and fresh fryers the last couple of times I went there the ground chuck had large clumps of white in it and looked unpleasant.I left it there and contacted management was told the meat dept had a new manager and was told they forgot to ground it a couple of times to correct the problem.I went to the prepared food counter to ask them to fry me a fresh eight piece chicken was told the fryers were broken so I asked the lady at the deli to please slice me a pound of yellow American cheese she looked unhappy to be there got home the entire pound was a clump all stuck together they didn't put any paper in between the slices so you can remove a slice at a time.Keep in mind their price on cheese is 3.00 more a pound than anyone else.Moving forward a week came back to get fresh chicken and was told the fryers were fixed but they had no oil,really they said their supplier was out of oil.There are tons of suppliers that they could have bought oil from.The bakery freezes their croissants and hamburger buns nothing fresh at the fresh market.I am through with this store forever!

A friend told me about Fresh Market, so I decided to check it out. What a welcomed surprise! The various meats and seafood looked super fresh. In fact, I've never seen such huge shrimp (4-8 per pound). I was able to find pretty much everything that I've struggled to find at other grocery stores (e.g. Gruyère cheese and beef short ribs). I paid a fair price for the short ribs and will definitely buy them from here again. I also found some cheese blintzes which were quite interesting. There was a huge selection of prepared foods for those looking for a quick and easy meal. The lady at the checkout counter was friendly, helpful and efficient. Although Fresh Market is a bit out of the way for me, I wouldn't hesitate to return.
