Literally scum of the earth, dirt bags, told us that the machines were working and then when we asked for some powerball tickets, they turned the machine off and said, "oops the machines are off" just to not sell us any. It's okay, we don't need that kind of energy around here and neither do you! Take your money to genuine people folks. They will drain all your energy.

Overall service was great, despite the lengthy wait for our food. Price to food ratio was reasonable. The flavors were spot on! I'd definitely recommend the Oyster Rockefeller Fries; oysters were extra crispy and sauce was delicious! This place is a definitely must try! :)

Legit bahn mi's !!!!! Some of the best in the city. Don't let this place being hooked to a gas station stop you. The Bo Kho is killer, give this place a try

We stopped at Banh Mi Boys for takeout on the way to the airport to return our rental car and fly home after a great vacation in New Orleans. This fusion sandwich shop is conveniently located in a gas station, so we were able to fill the tank of our rental car and avoid a second stop (distance to Louis Armstrong airport is about 5 miles). Facing a salty bag of pretzels as the only food served free on our United Airlines flight, I ordered a 10-inch Po Boy Sandwich on French Bread stuffed with Fried Oysters and Fried Shrimp, dressed Vietnamese-style with fresh cilantro, cucumber, shredded carrot and spicy sriracha sauce ($10). What a great sandwich, combining the best of the New Orleans Po Boy and the Vietnamese Banh Mi. There are tables and chairs outside, if you want to eat your meal there.

Wow what can I say!! Fresh banh mi, ingredients and large portions no matter what you order. My second time here, they can get pretty busy bc they do takeout orders as well but I guarantee you the service is like no other!! It'll definitely satisfy your cravings and keep you belly full.. my favorites are the Bang Bang shrimp banh mi (like a poboy sandwich) and the Cajun crack fries!!! Mmm perfect amount of toppings. Give the Oyster Rockefeller fries a try too!

Everything hot and fresh. Even though it's simple but it's good. The Hawaiian loco moco. But the oyster Rockefeller isn't that great. But either than that I wanna come back I try other food.

Pros: Clean Environment Friendly staff Reasonable Prices Plenty options Tender, Well Seasoned meats Dong Phuong Bread Cons: PARKING! Few tables, most outside seating With the only cons being the shortage of parking and tables, it's still well worth eating here or even getting it to go. Solid Vietnamese and even Po-boy joint! For being right across from the famous Short-Stop Po-boys, they certainly carry their own weight!

I ordered the mushroom bahn mi and tofu bahn mi. They were both very tasty, but the mushroom bahn mi was drenched so it fell apart. Aside from that they were great and I'll be back! Very good option for vegetarian and vegans alike!

I highly recommend! This is the PERFECT spot for a flavorful and inexpensive lunch or dinner. They have a lot of options, and you can stay healthy or indulge yourself with some of their over the top loaded fries. They have tons of bahn mi options, but be warned, the sandwiches are pretty big!! I always over order when I'm there because everything looks and sounds so good. Which isn't really a problem bc who doesn't love leftovers. The staff are always super nice and friendly and check in often, and feel like they really genuinely care about how much you're enjoying your meal! Sometimes it does take a while for your food to be ready (which I'm not complaining about because it means they're making it fresh) but if you're in a hurry or getting take out I recommend calling ahead. There are a few seats inside and some tables outside.

P H E N O M E N A L. No, seriously. Some of the best banh mi I've ever had. I came here for lunch with some friends, and we ended up coming back for lunch the next day. That's how great the food is here. Everything's made fresh, and you can tell that they use high quality ingredients. Also the staff is incredible! They remembered our names, and were very sweet. I highly recommend the Bulgogi beef, the honey sriracha shrimp, and the ooey gooey king cake bread pudding!

Bahn Mi Boys is a casual spot tucked on the side of a Texaco gas station. And like all hidden gems in/near/on-side of gas stations the food is OUT OF THIS WORLD! They even have the top 5 most popular dishes listed on the board to help newcomers. I've been twice now and each time I have been impressed. The Steak and Egg fries are loaded with tender meat and delicous sauce. The rib bahn mi is packed with flavor. The bang bang shirmp (their top seller) has a sweet, terriaki like sauce on it with chili flakes and fresh jalapenos for an extra kick. All of the bahn mi's come with super fresh fixin's that wonderfully balance the flavors in the meats, to give the eater a savory, filling, and refeshing meal. The "cherry" on top for me is the mint infused water. So refreshing! The space isn't huge. Most of the seating is outdoors, but there is a long bar seating spot which lines the narrow wall inside. The outside walls have beautiful art on them, one with a Bahni Mi, the other says "Eat More, Talk Less." The staff is always very friendly to my boyfriend everytime we visit. Our cashier even took extra time to help give him a run down of the most popular dishes on the menu. Definitely looking forward to working my way through the whole menu.
