very bad service and apparently racism I told them that I would take a look and that I would subscribe then a girl told me yes but a tall man with braids and of color told me that I had to pay and subscribe to be able to enter and I was not even using the machine Just taking a look and I was with my 3 brothers who have been going to their gym for 3 years, that man is very racist.

It's stressful when you're working out and suddenly someone tries to rush you to finish exercising on the machine . It doesn't matter if the person is on the phone; you have to wait for them to finish. Don't be rude, don’t act if you the person . ???

The support staff and management team are always knowledgeable, friendly, caring , and eager to help when asked! I would recommend planet fitness to anyone who is looking for a place to work out that consistently exceeds the standard of what is expected of a fitness club?

The machines here are amazing! I live in Washington and I've gone to most of the PF's there and in a few other states but this one is amazing! And the staff are all so pleasant ❤️

I’ve been to a number of locations and Ivan truly say, “the Metairie location is the best!” Everyone greets me when I arrive and thanks me when I’m leaving. And Nathaniel greets me by name. I really like that. Also, this location is very clean and smells wonderful.

This location stays busy and parking is rough, but that's ok. Park across the street. You're going to work out, so consider it part of your warm-up. Quit complaining. There's plenty of great, clean, quality equipment, and the staff is exceptionally friendly, attentive, and knowledgeable. They even treat us old timers with great respect. And who can argue with the price? If you step up to Black Card, the benefits are outstanding and the price is still great. Very highly recommended!

Just joined here with my fiancé. However I don’t know how long we will stay a member. It’s 90% teenagers and actual children. I think it’s because it’s so cheap. They are loud and don’t follow the rules. They hangout on machines for 30 minutes in what’s suppose to be the 12 min workout room that is supposedly monitored. I asked the guy if they monitor it and he said honestly no. It’s really annoying and a bummer. I guess that’s what you get for being so cheap. You get a ton of kids who treat it like a social hour and hog the machines (don’t actually workout just sit and text ) ?

Cleanish and over crowded. Leg equipment always out of order, with all the traffic here I am not sure why it takes so long to get equipment fixed. I have been to many planet fitnesses this one is the second worst. If u live close to another one I suggest you go there.Update:Machines still out of order yeesh!

Totally disappointed. It's 104 degrees in NOLA and the a/c wasn't working. I was told they are waiting for a part for the main cooling system that covers the main gym. Management should be doing something else to expedite the delivery of this part to cool down this place.

This is my favorite local planet fitness… one request- can y’all please get a prone leg curl? Most locations at least have one in the 30 minute circuit area. The seated leg curl machines you have, they all suck. Two are broken, and even when they work the current model doesn’t suit all bodies. They hurt my knees and thighs. Other than that y’all are great, thanks for always doing your best to keep the place clean with such high volume of members.

I’ve been coming to this planet fitness for about a year now, maybe a little over a year and I stay because I don’t feel like paying $40 a month for a different gym but you pay for it in terms of convenience. The parking situation is awful, sometimes you might need to circle the lot for 20 minutes or park across the street or off to the side when the crowd meter is only at two or three bars which granted isn’t their fault but just be aware of that. Depending on the time of the day you go the trash in the restroom is overflowing or there isn’t toilet paper or the paper towels at some of the cleaning stations will be out making it tedious to wipe down the equipment. There’s been several times where I’ve had to skip parts in my workout routine because there’s people circling the machines (sometimes they’re not even actively working out but just hanging around with their friends) and I don’t feel like awkwardly waiting for 20 minutes or being confrontational and telling the next person I’ve been waiting to use it. They simply don’t have enough strength training equipment for the amount of people that come in. It’s cheap but expect to run into problems unless you work out in the morning. I will say that their staff seems pretty friendly. Every time I’ve interacted with a staff member they’ve been helpful and kind so any real problems I’ve encountered at this gym are really due to the traffic it receives and not the staff that works there.

Shifty lights in their light rooms. 100% of their tanning and total body enhancement rooms are missing half their lights. Guessing by intent, thus I'm not happy at the decision. I finish a really bright session and it's like I'm fumbling through the dark. Are you trying to hide how dirty these rooms are?Thanks for your reply.. Not only is there only one bulb, the one is either low wattage, or half lit since it's partner isn't in there. I see your hallway lights are super bright let's get that in the rooms and we're golden

I have been a regular at Planet Fitness for a number of years now. This summer the gym is not cooked properly and machines have been out of service for long periods. Sometimes I have to leave before I finish my workout because I'm too hot. I'm concerned about the air quality too.

Both there leg curl machines are broken and they have an out of order sign that they swap between the two. Yall just need to replace the worn out metal plate that the thigh cushion has. It’s meant to be easy unscrewed and replaced easily.
