What has happened in o People’s health!!!! This is absurd. Lady dropped/hung up on me. I call back and someone knows my name and claims they would call me back, that I don’t need to call them. No call back!!!!
Not the first time either. I will peruse this matter to the top! UNBELIEVABLE! DISGUSTING! DISGRACEFUL!
They think this is a joke!

I am an Oculoplastic surgeon and Orbital Oncologist; I am one of the few people in the state of Louisiana trained to do what I do. I have tried multiple times to get onto People’s Health as I am aware that no other providers in my specialty take this insurance. I have called the help line multiple times to no avail and have never been able to contact a physical human being to receive the help I need to get onto this insurance plan. I have also tried creating a “One Healthcare ID” online and have gone through the reCaptcha multiple times to try to make the ID; also to no avail as it does not allow me to advance and create a profile. It is very obvious to me that your insurance is dissuading providers from joining the system and providing the care that the patients of Louisiana so desperately need.
If anyone from your insurance company (who will actually help me become a member) reads this message, they are highly encouraged to reach out to me and get this done.
Regards,
Joshua Ford, MD FACS

I cannot believe People Health doesn’t provide transportation services for people in a wheelchair. I setup an appointment with them and explained my condition. The morning of my appointment they arrived and told me they couldn’t accommodate me. I was so disappointed.

used to be good until they sold out to United Health care. I have 11 different phone numbers. None help. TRy a different company. Adding. The company response was to tell me to call a number that says I am not a member. Pharmacy and hospital took card but customer services denies I am a member. How about a phone number for the person who answers reviews.

I couldn't understand a word the foreign person was saying and the connection was terrible. I despise People's Health now. Will tell everyone not to go with you. You're incompetent.

My experience with Peoples Health has been less than stellar. Primary care visits in network are supposed to be a zero dollar copay for me, and yet they always find some way to make me pay a $35 copay. Their OTC division is not any better. I've had issues with every order I've placed. The last order I placed was on July 9th; one item shipped but the rest haven't as of today, and no on can tell me why. The best answer I can get, even from a supervisor, is that someone will eventually research the issue and then call me back in 3-5 business days. They won't cancel the rest of the order; they won't do anything to expedite shipping on the rest of the items in the order. I've run out of some of the items - Benadryl, Tylenol, and toothpaste - and unfortunately I'm having some really challenging financial issues right now, and don't have the funds to buy them elsewhere. I trusted Peoples Health - again - when I shouldn't have, and now I'm paying the price. I will be switching insurance companies during open enrollment in October.

Do not get glasses from peoples health, owned by United Health, I ordered glasses and they looked like the glasses you order from cheap companies on the net. They are prescription when ordered but arrived with a cheap glued on bottom glass very much like the kind of magnifying type bought in drug stores. Sending back and buying from a real eyeglass company.

Been with Peoples Health for several years and absolutely glad I made the switch. They have covered every medical need that has appeared. And this year they added dental coverage with a cap of $2000. That is $1000 more than what I had when I was employed and paid for dental coverage. Also, I have plenty of dental providers to chose from. This year vision coverage is included. I had been paying for private coverage since I retired. It is a very nice benefit.I highly recommend Peoples Health and refuse to give them fewer than 5 stars.

I loved this Ins I have had for 3 years until now. Even signed up 3 family members with my agent. I have ordered the catalog 4 times, for medication and supplies that they pay $65 quarterly for. Just called again mailed out 11/7/22 but new criteria will be 2023.I am reviewing other Ins companies at this time to change to a company that will fulfill they promises.

Beware!! When you talk to the SALES people they make it sound like all your DRs and medications are covered and in NETWORK. Not the case!! I went to my PCP that I have had for 3years with United Healthcare and …Surprise!! He was not! Even though I got switched from United HC Community Plan which was great and had no hassle. Not only this but no one in my area of Leesville/ Fort Polk will take this for Dental or Vision. I am beyond frustrated and I want to sound the alarm before others fall for this Medicare DIS- advantage plan. So when I called customer service to say hey my PCP is not in network… I was told “Just get another PCP “ Thanks PEOPLEs Republic of Health. Very sketchy and deceptive.

Very thorough and accommodating. It is quite refreshing in this day in age to get the level of service they provide.
