This was my very first visit with Paris Parker Salon (Lakeside mall near Michael Kors and close to food court) I did get lost and was misdirected 3 times before finding the salon. Making me 14 minutes late. I wouldn’t have blamed them for turning me around at the door. But they didn’t. They do give 15 minutes, thank god ! But …. My stylist , Sean (he’s seasoned so he cost more but please believe me, for this event, it was worth it)
Immediately I knew Sean was perfect! He wasn’t annoying at me being late, knew I was the one with a schedule so he looked at 4 or 5 of my pictures I brought and he got right to work. he was able to juggle the conversation , advise, compliments ? and the hairstyling without missing a beat. He’s effortlessly making everything come together. When he turned me around with the mirror I couldn’t have been happier! My hair got compliments all night. 9 hours later, 95 degrees outside and my hair never lost its beauty. Sean, Sean, Sean I am soo glad that I ended up in YOUR chair that Sunday evening. Fantastic work.
Requested style: Half up/half down with curls and accessories (I brought my own) for wedding.

I went to see Sean at Paris Parker Lakeside after my previous hairdresser had been giving me "long layers" in the back at a length that was up to my EYES. I asked him to please help me - but - oh - you can't cut it all off because I'm getting married in 6 months. LOL, I'm sure every hairdresser's dream. Well, he not only somehow cut small amounts off at a time until the wedding - but he also evened out the disastrous mushroom helmet cut I had going on. After my wedding, I told him to do the big chop, and ever since my hair has evened out and looks and feels wonderful again. I have thick frizzy hair, and I finally can FEEL the thickness again! Sean is wonderful to talk to - I want to be his friend in real life. He is such a joy. The salon is small, so it is often quiet when I go in with only maybe one other customer. I love that it's not crazy busy and no one has ever tried to upsell me products!! The only annoying thing is that it's inside the mall, but this has only been challenging around holidays. Otherwise - no problems whatsoever!

I've been going to Paris Parker for years, and my stylist Betty is just top notch. So friendly and professional, and remembers personal details, even though she tons of clients. I always leave her chair feeling super good about myself, and her superb service! The other staff are also very nice and accommodating, the salon it's self very clean and kept to a high standard. 5 stars!

I live about 1.5 away south of Nola. I have been seeing Jeanine for about 2 years off and on, but I have to say nothing beats am aveda haircut and products. Jeanine does an amazing job on my haircuts and hi lites. I always feel beautiful leaving the salon . Well worth the drive and cost.Services: Haircut

Moved to the area recently and I've seen Sean twice now. He is FANTASTIC! First time I just had a trim in my usual style, second time I asked for a s*** and to have about half the length cut off and it is so freakin cute. He gave me great tips on how to style it and he's just all around super cool to chat with too. Glad I found such a great stylist in a new city.Services: Haircut

This was my first time coming here. Madeline was so sweet and did such an amazing job on my hair ! The layers she added are great and I love how bouncy and healthy it looks! She did such an amazing job on the blow out and really took her time making sure it looked perfect!

My first appointment with this stylist she was running behind and called me last minute. I do not live close so I was already there. I was patient and waited nearly an hour. Today for my second appointment I was 17 minutes late due to an issue out of my control. I literally ran into the appointment completely out of breath. She refused to even speak to me and charged me half of the price of the service. I will NEVER ever go back there. Business, particularly client service, is about how you treat people. Sean Ortolano has been the best stylist! Always given me exactly the cut I asked for. His choppy layers bring life to my fine hair, and he is such a sweet and friendly person. Highly recommend, he’s worth every penny and then some!

Absolutely best experience I’ve ever had in any salon. Came in to inquire about making an appointment and was assisted by Olivia who gave the absolute kindest customer service. We discussed my hair cut and she had an appointment available with Madeleine. She was the best stylist I have ever had. We consulted about the style and she delivered and more! She was just as kind as Olivia too. I learned about styling my hair from her while being blown away with the best cut and healthy looking hair ever. Purchased a product from the salon as well. Very very unprofessional behavior. I booked an appointment for haircut at lakeside Paris parker. They called me in the morning of my appointment day that my hair stylist is not available so they changed my appointment to 6.00pm with someone else. When i reached there after 10mins of waiting i was told as it’s closing time they will not be able to give me full haircut service. If they knew that they don’t have time to do haircut at 6, you should not have booked for that time.Won’t be going back to this place again.
