I have never witnessed a pharmacy staffed so heavily with such incompetent and careless individuals. This staff has NO coethe. They made me feel VERY unwelcomed and the ONLY reason I attempted to fill with them was because my physician specifically confirmed with them that they had my medication in stock. BUT....despite having the medication, they came up with every excuse not to fill it. First, I was told my insurance required a prior authorization. I confirmed that to be FALSE on a 3-way conference call from People's Health. Then, after that call, they said they would fill it, but not until the morning. So the next day, I called at 9 am, confirmed it was ready, drove to the store, and I was told for the SECOND time that they were out of stock, and that it would be filled the NEXT day. I called the next day, I was placed on hold, and a pharmacist answered, "I do not have this medicine. I suggest you take your business elsewhere." I wish someone could have been upfront in the beginning, but clearly, this pharmacy specializes in favoritism.ZERO PATIENT CONSIDERATIONThis is how a neighborhood pharmacy stays in business for 50 years; they only fill the neighbor's prescriptions.

I only had one problem filling a Rx over the years. Once the problem was figured out everything was fine. The numerous young cashiers are also not a problem as some say. I do not expect the kids working the counter to answer medical questions. If I need information, I always ask to see one of the pharmacists. (What customer would not know to do this?) There is no security guard but they do have a sheriff deputy on duty from time to time. The police are always professional, and I had no problems with them. I highly recommend Majoria Drugs with no reservations.

Great small local neighborhood pharmacy. Has a good selection of front end products. Pharmacists are friendly and knowledgeable. They are not open late, so plan accordingly.

I have used Majoria Drugs for decades. Used to be a good, reliable pharmacy. I have been diabetic for nearly a year and a half and have had Ozempic filled at Majoria's since. I also have excellent insurance that covers my medications. Yesterday, I went to pick up the five prescriptions, including Ozempic that are with Majoria's, and after a wait, out came one of the pharmacists, a youngish woman named Angela Bodungen Zimmerman. She had my prescriptions and was waving my Ozempic at me. She told me in no uncertain terms that she was not going to fill my Ozempic any more after this, and that she had only filled it because I had been such a good customer for so many years. She said that my insurance (Blue Cross/Blue Shield) was hardly reimbursing her for the cost of the medications. She specifically told me that Ozempic cost $900.00. I told her I could die if I did not take it and she didn't bat an eye. She told me that if she kept filling prescriptions for which she didn't receive enough reimbursement she would have to close down the doors of the pharmacy. I was not aware that she owned the place. Her attitude was pathetic, hard, and frankly, unbelievable. She suggested that I order this online through my insurance or have my doctor prescribe something cheaper. I paid for my meds, got into my car and drove three blocks away to Walgreens and had all five of my prescriptions transferred to Walgreen's. Who assured me there would be no problem. I figured if I was such a financial burden to Majoria's with my insurance, they did not need my business and I was happy to take it elsewhere. There's more to this pitiful saga. I went online into my benefits explanation page at my insurance. Keep in mind this "humane" pharmacist, Zimmerman told me Ozempic cost $900.00. My explanation of benefits showed that I paid out of pocket $30.00 each time I filled it, and BC/BS paid Majoria's $869.77. If you do the math, $30.00 plus $869.77 totals $899.77. I guess Majoria's not being paid twenty-three cents was enough to close down the doors for good.On that note, and I am refraining from name calling this poor excuse for a pharmacist what I think of her, and to her point, if a pharmacy that is there to serve the public, especially for medication for a disease that could be catastrophic if untreated, it is a very fine idea that they close down their doors for good.

Great family drug store. They offer generics on most prescriptions-- something a lot of the big chain pharmacies don't do-- and have good prices on merchandise. Sometimes has a wait to get prescriptions.

Great place to shop and pick up your prescriptions but security there is very racist and have a problem with people of color even if the person that start yelling at you is another color ( white) started the yelling and your only defending yourself and the man security guard tells you to shut up we don't condone that type of behavior and he sees that the other person started it. Mind very much blown I felt like a criminal even though I wasn't the problem. So much for EQUAL rights.

Practically all my business reviews have been 5 star. The negative Majoria reviews have a theme of rudeness. Majoria used to have a refreshing mom and pop feel. The pharmacists and employees (other than the cashiers) are helpful. Unfortunately, they are not the ones you have to deal with face to face. An employee, Fay, accused me of not paying for my prescriptions when I came back in with a question. She then rudely tossed my medicine on the counter. I will pay more for mail order.
