No other salon competes with the work here. So thankful to know about this gem of a place. So convenient and always will to help my dream nails come to life. @Tuans work. 5 years of coming to this place I never go anywhere else.

((Backstory)) After having acrylic nails for almost one year, my nails experienced major damage. I decided to have them removed (at another location) about a month ago. On 2/10/24 I went to Lavish Day Spa in Metairie, LA to get a gel manicure service. Once I sat down and before the nail technician began, I mentioned to him about my nail journey (as above mentioned). He didn’t say a word and proceeded to pick up the drill device and take it to my nails because I had on nail polish. I stopped him and said, sir it’s regular polish on my nails. He said, I know. I then said, I don’t want the drill used on my nails. He stopped, snatched off the apparatus from the end of drill then aggressively started to take the nail polish off my nails with a paper towel and nail polish remover. After removing the polish completely off my right hand he barely took off the polish on the left hand. Next, he picked up the drill and added a smaller apparatus to the end of the drill and tried to use the drill machine a 2nd time. I again stopped him and said, sir I don’t want the drill used on my nails at all. Again, he took off that piece and threw that piece into the pile of tools and picked up yet another stick-like apparatus added it to the drill machine and proceeded to drill it into my nails a 3rd time. At that point, I felt so disrespected, upset and almost wanted to tear up. I didn’t want to be confrontational from the beginning which is why I mentioned my nail journey when I sat down. I said to him, sir I told you I didn’t want the drill machine used on my nails at all and you know what, I don’t want this service at all. I’m so tired of y’all doing what y’all want to do even though I’ve told you multiple times I didn’t want my nails drilled on. I picked up my items and left the shop immediately and will never do business with this company again. I know I’m not the only one who’s had this experience and recommend everyone to take a stand and not allow this type of blatant disrespect to continue to go on and to stop patronizing their business and I guarantee their attitudes will change. But as long as we pay they college funds, car notes, mortgages, designer labels, etc. they’ll continue to do this to US. So please, stop doing business with them until they change their blatantly disrespectful ways towards us.

Horrible experience. Do not go here. Salon is not well kept and has roaches (we were told the roaches come from the restaurant next door)Calvin did my manicure and pedicure and I specifically asked NOT to have my cuticles trimmed. He instead said that I should just let him know if he hurts me. He did. He cut too much on both of my big toes and kept going EVERY time I asked him to stop. I should have left after that.He continued to ignore my requests as he did my nails and left 4 of my cuticles bleeding. When I pointed this out to him, he pulled out a bottle of blue solution and put it on the affected fingers. I asked what he used and only then did he tell me antiseptic.I was so disgusted with the entire experience. But to top it off he runs my card and THEN tells me he entered the wrong amount and needed to run it again. They charge a 3% processing fee for each card transaction so I refused to let him run it again. Just a mess. I'll never be back! It's the next day and my nails still hurt!!!

First and last time coming here. In less than a week, 3 nails came off. The first nail came off on the third day and 2 more came off today. I’m very disappointed. This has never happened to me. Obviously the glue is the problem…

I’ve been a customer for as long as they have been open. My favorite nail shop period. Lisa is amazing! I moved almost an hour away and I still commute because can’t nobody do my nails like Lisa!!!
