Beautiful baby furniture and clothing. Lots of unique NOLA items. Bought my grandchild an amazing stroller and the softest outfits I've ever found. Friendly with great service!

Checked in here and BOOM I got my high-roller badge. That made me laugh. Oh, yes, this is my life! And I love it - who am I kidding? So THIS place! LAWD I'm glad I didn't know about this place when I was pregnant. They have all of the fancy stuff. Oddly, and this is cute -- training potties are awesome here. All kinds of neat things to sit on. Now I'm an Aden and Anais girl. My son has two dozen stained bibs that I now fasten backwards to give the illusion of clean - and they have a nice selection here! Furniture and strollers. Custom frames and nursery decor. If I ever need a gift or a potty - I'm coming here! Only thing I'd add to their inventory is a super-sturdy jogging stroller. The fancy ones are nice but truly, the terrain in NOLA calls for a Land Rover vs. a Prius! Solid place!

My 4 year old is ready for his first big boy bed and this place helped the both of us pick one out that he liked and that I found safe and at a good price!

This is a gem when shopping to decorate your nursery for a new arrival. Sweet little things to make your room special. Beautiful furniture, bedding, gifts, picture frames, rugs, rockers, cribs, lighting. The furniture and much of the bedding is special order, so plan ahead. I could not buy everything I wanted from here because it is on the expensive side, but I love the things I have. Good selection, good quality, local business, friendly knowledgeable staff. Great place for those expecting a baby.

For the record, let it be known that I really don't know much when it comes to babies, baby furniture, strollers or car seats. However, I found myself in Metairie, LA on Causeway Boulevard yesterday, shopping for baby "stuff" at The Baby's Room. This place is the polar opposite of Babies R Us, and this is not a shot at either of these businesses. The Baby's Room is a very small boutique styled store that caters to personalized attention. Personally, I like that kind of service, especially when I am enthusiastically greeted upon entering the store. This is a high end store that features the "top of the line" baby furniture, strollers , car seats etc. I was literally blown away when I saw this cool looking stroller, and then observed the $900.00 price tag that went along with it. Perhaps never having had children (yet), I am a little disconnected from these things. But $900.00 can buy a used motorcycle or scooter! But I digress. The only reason this store doesn't get 5 stars is that it's quite small, but perhaps that's going back to the whole "boutique style". There is a really cool love seat towards the back of the store where couples can thumb through catalogs and pick out things that they don't see on the floor. The store also specializes in baby registries and no appointment is needed. For those of you who find yourself shopping (like me), and haven't got a clue on what to get, you have the convenience of opting for a gift certificate. This store has everything the expecting parents could ever want for their child, except for clothes. And they have this covered as well, since just 20 feet away and directly next door is their sister store, "Itsy Bitsy Me", which is a high end children's clothing store. Check out their website at
