“Had an amazing experience staying here while visiting New Orleans! This hotel is very close to almost anywhere you want to go, good restaurants and shopping malls, and most importantly the New Orleans downtown! Rooms were very comfortable, they give you free breakfast and it was delicious, it is worth it. People are super kind, in the breakfast room they have beautiful people working there!Hope to be coming back soon, I’ll be staying here again for sure ☺️”

“We stayed 4 nights. Our room was very clean and comfortable and looked recently renovated with daily room service. The staff was friendly and very helpful. The hotel’s location is ideal for anyone doing business or vacationing in New Orleans. Overall, it’s an exceptional value with extremely favorable rates. We look forward to staying here again on our future visits to New Orleans.”

“Close to the mall really nice location. Rebecca really took care of us in getting the right room after I accidentally switched it while I was driving to the hotel. Super nice. Be aware elevator suckssss you could spend 10 minutes waiting on it and only 1 is working — I ended up just talking the stairs the last time because it was a line of people waiting”

“I stayed at Rodeway Inn and was surprised to find one of my most comfortable rooms in a while. My room has just been remodeled and on the inside feels like a much more expensive brand. The outside of the building still has an old motor lodge feeling, but once you get inside your room you'll find a great place to rest. The rooms face an internal courtyard, so you don't hear as much of the traffic or hallway noise that most cheap rooms have through the night.The staff at the hotel have all been amazing as well. From the late night check in crew to Misty who helped me extend my stay (it was that restful) and even the other folks working, everyone was friendly and took pride in the property. The only downside to my stay is the breakfast is currently not being served due to construction, but the price is fair, I didn't feel like I missed anything and I just got more sleep anyway.Overall, this is the nicest Rodeway I've seen... It could probably pass for another brand in the Choice family with just some signage changes.Rooms: Recently remodeled, my room included a mini fridge, microwave, coffee, hair dryer and even a telephone. They even have multiple ice machines that work. All rooms seem to be non-smoking now.Safety: The interior courtyard with access to the rooms is gated and the room windows all face this courtyard instead of the parking lot.Walkability: There is a bus stop directly in front of the hotel with direct service into downtown New Orleans if that's your destination. There's a fast food restaurant and grocery store a block down the street via the sidewalk.”

“Very nice. I would give it a 5 star rating except that I did have a crummy waitress last night at the bar. She seemed to cater to all her white customers over me. She even walked past me with my order of hot wings and sat them at the edge of the bar. After 5 minutes, I went and got them. All she said was "I'm sorry, I got busy". How? There where 6 people there. She also "forgot" about another black patron's order.Rooms: Very nice rooms. Very clean and spacious.Food & drinks: The food was great. The service was not.”

“My daughter and I love spending Christmas in New Orleans. Year 2023 was excellent and LaQuinta, Veterans Parkway, Metairie, made it possible for us. General Manager Ms. Rose, along with her team members; especially Keisha and Melissa certainly are hospitable hotel management. The location is close to the Quarter for us, our rooms were clean and comfortable, and breakfast is an upgrade to the traditional "free breakfast" selections. Great job Ms. Rose and team and thank you for making our Christmas again this year special.”

“Basic mid quality hotel. I stay here a lot because it's location is fantastic four business travel. The rates are low and the bed is clean and comfortable. Also there is a Cafe du Monde in walking distance.”
