For both the estimate and the repair they 1) called when they said they would, 2) came when they said they would, 3) did the job they quoted, and, 4) charged what they quoted.
Another company tried to tell me I needed an entirely new door with all the hardware. Hollywood Door immediately told me I only needed repairs for a fraction of the price the other company quoted for a new door.
They also installed a new opener with remote for considerably less than the other company quoted.
Based on my experience, I highly recommend Hollywood Door.

I paid a non refundable fee of $130 to have a tech come out and diagnose an issue. He gave me to choices: a repair for $50 or a replacement for $450. I chose the repair. When I called to schedule the salesman said the repair was NOT an option and the only one was the replacement and then tried to upsell me on a warranty. Why did i pay a fee for a so called professional? I was informed he didn't know what he was doing. What? Total rip off. They offered no apology and actually argued with me. Beware, bad business practices.

We bought gas logs a number of years ago, and Hollywood Door has been great about support (even when we left batteries in the remote sensor for almost a year). Duris just fixed the garage door for $200 when another company told me it couldn’t be repaired (and recommended a new $3500 garage door).

Great experience. Duris is extremely knowledgeable of garage door openers and accessories. He was familiar with the problem I was experiencing with my Genie opener, and sold me two LiftMaster 98022 wall mount openers which rectified the issue. Duris installed my new LiftMaster openers, keypads, led lights, and wall switches within the same week that I purchased the units from Hollywood Door. My needs for quick service, industry knowledge, and professionalism were all satisfied. Highly recommend.

Great Experience. Duris was my salesman and went over many different choices with me and helped me decide what I wanted, very impressive young man. He did not try to intimidate me to buy something that I didn’t need, which is hard to come across now. When the door came in, one of the other salesman, Johnny, called me and set up a date. Duris and David came out and installed the garage door system and I was very pleased with the end result. They did a great job from the original call to final install, and I will definitely reccomend to anyone in need of a garage door. Thanks!

Most times they don't answer the phone so you have to go there. Then you can't get an appointment for weeks.

I ordered a fireplace door from Hollywood Door. They sent one of their employees to my house to measure the opening of my fireplace. The employee measured wrong which made the frame too small for the opening of my fireplace. I originally ordered a thin frame door. They reordered another door but the frame was wider then the one that I picked out. I refused the reordered door because of the wider size of the frame. If there employee would have measured right from the beginning there would have been no problem. Hollywood Door seems to think since they measured wrong and I refused the wider frame door that they reordered that they are entitled to my deposit. The employee asked the manufacturer what do I do with the original door, they told him to hang it around his neck to remind him to get the right measurements next time. There customer service sucks, be careful when dealing with these people.

I've been calling for a quote for a month now and the phone has been busy. I went to the place and the lady at the front said that they are too busy to answer the phone so they just don't answer it. Then we made an appointment for someone to come to my home and they never showed up. I don't know how a business can stay running like that.
