The only reason I gave two stars is because of the merchandise. One star for the attitude of the employees.According to google, they are open until 5:30 on Saturdays. My husband and I walked in at 3:54 pm, unaware that apparently they now close at 4 pm Saturday. We were greeted by a rude woman who brusquely yelled “we close in 2 minutes!” Our mere presence walking in clearly annoyed her based on the tone of her voice. Meanwhile, there were about 15 people in there still shopping. We are NOLA transplants that now live in TX and wanted to spend some money buying Mardi Gras decor/novelties for our home. As far as we’re concerned, if you close at 4, you lock the door at that point and allow those that have arrived to continue shopping. A gentle reminder that you’re now closed would have sufficed at the proper time. I was so put off by this employee, we turned around and walked out. Upon walking out, I did see that the closing time was 4pm on Saturdays-maybe y’all should get with google to get that straightened out.If you want to buy cool stuff that reminds you of home, it’s great, but in the future we won’t be coming back. There are too many other places in the area we can shop for the same items.

Wish it was the old Gordons that had so much more merchandise to inspire you, but this is better than none. I do miss talking with the professional floral designers, they gave me so much information to help.

I have to give a shout-out to this small business. I had to posters framed and they are professional and beautiful. The staff is always kind, patient and professional when I visit. I recently bought a glass Easter basket as a gift. It made such a lasting impression on the friend it was gifted too. Please consider using this business for framing needs and gift ideas. This is what true customer service looks like.

Love Gordon’s BUT drove across the lake on Saturday specifically to go there. The hours posted said they were open until 530p. Arrived a few minutes past 4. They were closed!!!Wasted time, toll, and gas. Not happy.

Lots of Mardi Gras decorations ! And ribbons for u to make ur own and they also sell wreaths and stuff they make ! A little pricey but what isn't these days . I did g realize they were located off of vets but now that I found them I'm deff going to be coming back ! Nice quality items and very knowledgeable staff

I recently went to Gordon's to have a picture framed, and they did great work! Their employees were very friendly and helpful throughout the whole process. They offered numerous framing options, and it was clear that they weren't just trying to upsell me. They helped me find the best solution to create exactly what I wanted. Love this store. Had beautiful Christmas decorations. Great candles So glad they are back up & running. Be patient this is very trying times for Store owners, very hard owning a business right now. Owner is coming back slowly. Be glad we still have one.
