This rating is not for the Pharmacy. It is for the store part. Customer service is very poor. I was not able to check out like the man in front of me. I was told to self checkout or if I had a CVS card he would check me out.

I had been coming here for years, but recently the staff has become more rude and sketchy. I have had multiple interactions that made me come to this conclusion, but here are my last two interactions with the pharmacy:
I put an order in on the CVS application at around 7AM, but after checking back every hour, the refill was canceled at around 11:30AM with no explanation. When I finally was able to speak to a human over the phone (had to say “speak to a person” at least 6 times) and explained what happened, the pharmacist told me the order “never went through.” This was a lie since the app said it was canceled.
I didn’t feel like arguing about this, so I asked her to put the refill back in and asked when it would be ready. She proceeded to tell me, “the orders are filled in the order they come in.” I reminded her that I put the order in hours prior before it was canceled. She responded, “well, it didn’t go through, so…”
The time before that, when I tried to refill an allergy medication I am prescribed by a doctor, they told me “they don’t do that anymore” and that I would have to pay full price in store since it was over the counter medication. Which seems fishy to me since I have never had an issue with this in the past, especially with a prescribed medication.
All in all, it seems like they are cutting corners, they are not the nicest, and are comfortable with lying to customers.
After these last two incidents, I changed pharmacies to Walgreens. So far, I haven’t had any issues! They also had no problem filling my allergy meds behind the counter, which saved me a good amount of money. Wish I did this sooner.

This pharmacy is HORRIBLE. They were supposed to fill a prescription and just didn't for a month.
I know other people who have had several problems with getting prescriptions filled at this location.
If you can go somewhere else, do it.

I attempted to pick up my same day photo order just before 7pm on 3/27/24 from the CVS on Cleary and W Napoleon. The photo machine was out of paper & the store was out of stock of the photo paper so they were unable to print my full order. The employees were unable to sell me the photos that had already printed because the barcode card did not print. As I was leaving, the CVS worker (tall, thin, white male with medium length dyed blonde hair) rudely said under his breath, “Don’t wait until the last minute next time.”

No one checking out. Machine acting up and employee just standing there watching. No help at all. Needs to be closed at this location.

Pharmacy staff is extremely rude and very unprofessional. I was refused my medication because of a personal reason from one of the staff members.Who is a very loud and disrespectful worker. I have never encountered someone in that profession handling in such a disgraceful manner. I will be contacting coporate because CVS should have zero tolerance for this kind of hugging behaviors.

Horrible service. I was at the check out process at self checkout, and needed help with a tag on the product. I asked a gentleman (he was standing on the side), nothing to do.."haw I should scan this, if no tag. He looked at me, and said:"You should go back and get another one"! Excuse me???? I have to stop my check out, run back, spend money at this store, AND WHAT SHOULD YOU DO????HORRIBLE SERVICE!

The worst CVS in the NOLA area. Employees often times don’t care for the customers and self checkout is usually broken. If you can avoid going to this CVS, do so.

I usually go to this location early in the morning (5-6am) to purchase items for lunch with my snap card. While attempting to grab coffee from the fridge a worker yelled at me not to walk on the wet floor. She was rude and nasty and didn’t need to startle me. If your store is open for business why be cleaning floors with no wet floor signs in site??

Very unprofessional. My mom picked up her prescription from this store, but they didn't ask my mom's insurance card, verify her home address nor her phone number. Her address was miswritted as a NJ address on the leafet, which she never ever lived there before and her phone number was completely wrong. She paid over 200 dollars of med without insurance cover because they didn't gather my mom's insurance info and didn't entered it in the system

The pharmacist is absolutely rude and nasty. She talks to people terrible and zero customer service skills. She is definitely not there to help people. Been there 6 months and last 3 visits to pick up RX she pretty much refuses to help you. Will be changing pharmacy100% because of her.

If both drive thru lanes have car in them. You can plan on waiting over 30 minutes if not longer. Terrible
