Scrapped my class ring after a few days past the payment date, and they usually call to remind me. I guess they got paid more to scrap at. I won’t ever be buying anything from y’all again, or doing business with y’all.

I took 3 public transit busses to get to this pawn shop, so that I could look at their laptops they had for sale, and they had a bunch of laptops for sale, but they were all behind the counter, and I was unable to look at them. I asked one of the workers if I could look at the laptops, and she had a really bad attitude (no smile, no friendliness), and just shakes her head (meaning no) at me. Horrible customer service. Unfriendly. Bad attitude. She could have said in a friendly manner, " I am helping another customer, and when I get finished, I would be happy to show you the laptops", but no, horrible attitude, and not even a single word reply to me. So I get in line, and even after it appeared there was nobody left in line, I waited, and nobody cared to help me. So, I left. I will never return to this place.

I usually don't post on these but I sincerely have to speak on my amazing experience in this establishment... usually you go in and you get the stares and looks not this place they where very warm and inviting.... I swear the women that work there work really hard to keep it so welcoming that I don't mind spending my hard earned money there... I have to give a shout out two employees because they went above and beyond the call of duty. Sarah and Jeanette... they where very knowledgeable about all the items I was interested in buying... I was very impressed ? ..I will be coming back to these dynamic duo....for future purchases and reference.. keep up the good work out there lady's my family appreciated this ???????

Met a black girl name Ski working in customer service at Cash America 5413 in Metairie, she actually made Cash America Pawn sound like a Ratchet place because we got a warranty on the XBOX 360 but all sales final for games, so I said since there final show us they play before we leave, " She said this is a pawn shop were not going to buy a tv to just hook your stuff up and show you it works,, my God this is a pawn shop. Lol wow and were just D*** Customers , I guess!#FireHer!

I went in Monday looking at rings. We were greeted. Then, we spent more than an half an hour waiting for someone to help us. They took 3 other customers. I said something after the 2nd, no response. After the 3rd, I to the employees that they had take 3 customers in front of us. The employee replied that she only took 1 person in front of us and started to argue with me. I simply stated that they obviously didn't need our business and left. I went back to the M.A. Green location and was treated with genuine interest and concern!

So, heads up. If you take in Jewelry, they will test it initially, with a diamond and gold checker, throw you an offer, you accept an offer, (seems like a Verbal Contract at this point) and then they come with Acid Testing. If the jewelry turns out to be plated, the acid will eat off the metal, causing the sales lady eyes to get all big and exclaim "IT BURNED IT" and damage your jewelry, and their response from the District Manager will be ".....but you do realize, you had a fake ring." And then he'll quote some typical corporate BS about how they train to tell people an offer "if it tests real", and how all the other pawn shops do it too... IDC IDC IDC, just because your job trains you one way, DOES NOT mean that's how you realllllllly do. And how about some warning that " IF YOUR JEWELRY IS FAKE, THE ACID WILL DAMAGE THE JEWELRY!!" Yep, my ring may have turned out to be "fake", but it was still MY RING (that didn't turn my finger green), , and YOU STILL DAMAGED IT!! UGHH!!!
