Purchased a 10s Battery for my Troy built lawnmower less than 6 months ago . That is what the salesman called it . I paid 130 bucks the person selling it says it’s going to last several years . I’m thinking you get what you pay for . Ok. I go to cut grass ,no power and the battery wont take a charge . Because there’s no volts showing the warranty is no good . I try and keep it local maybe not anymore .

Battery I needed was $5.95 online and came in a 2-pack. Online showed sale price of $2.95. I walk in and look around for the battery while 2 workers dealt with other customers. Once it’s my turn, I show the guy a picture of the batteries I am looking for and show him it’s for my key fob which he takes with him around the counter. No problem— I figured he would know based on the fob which battery it needs since it is his job after all. Annoying side note: he told me the battery I showed him was a “good guess” as if I don’t know the correct battery. Anyway, he then hands me the key fob with the new battery in it and tells me my total was $11.24. I asked why it is so much cheaper online, and he says because they charge for installation. Annoyed, I said, “I didn’t know that,” to which he had nothing to say. I didn’t ask for installation nor do I or my kindergartener need that. Mind you our entire interaction was likely under 2 minutes as he was quick to give and charge me a pointless service I didn’t ask for, not to mention he never told me what the battery or “installation” would cost before cutting the packaging open. And if I was looking for the battery on my own before I could speak to a worker, what would lead one to believe I wasn’t looking to simply buy a battery without needing “installation”? All around unprofessional and dishonest. I don’t usually post reviews or even get annoyed easily, but what can I say.

This place has very nasty and rude owners. They are in the store from time to time, but are not receptive to correcting any issues. They do not care enough about their customers to even return phone calls, nor do they even attempt to resolve problems (EVEN THE ONES THEY OR THIER EMPLOYEES CREATE).My biggest complaint with the Metairie store is their attitudes and belittlement of customers. I will NEVER set foot in this place again.I understand the current owners are in the process of selling this store to a national chain. I hope this chain does the necessary Due Diligence before they complete this sale. I have spoken to Many other people about their experiences here, and NONE of them will ever return there because of rudeness, horrible attitudes, and downright uncaring encounters with owners and staff. I believe this means they won't go there when the new owners take over either. CHECK OUT SOME OF THE OTHER REVIEWS ON LINE.I have been promised things, lied to, verbally abused, and been thrown obnoxious and demeaning comments primarily by the 2 owners.I really hope they do sell this place and move out of Metairie permanently. We do not need this kind of "BUSINESS MEN" in our parish. The only reason I am a giving a +1* rating to these people is because there is no choice for a "0" nor " - 100*" rating.

This is a dishonest company, I ordered 2 Samsung 21700 lithium batteries on their website,They sent me 2 fakes from China that were completely different from what was shown on the website,They ignored my return request,Just for $15 they sell fakes,Don't trust the pictures they show, what you receive is a fake.3/30/2023 Supplementary comments: All Samsung batteries are printed with LOGO, but these two do not,Just put a label on it,The phone on the box said they were from China, one of the batteries kept dropping even when not in use, totally bad quality.

Do NOT call them if only one person in store. You could be on hold for longer than 27 minutes and 31 seconds.

This is a great business that has ALL THE BATTERIES!! Car batteries, mobility scooter batteries, watch batteries, toy batteries, all of them! The last time we stopped in the guy behind the counter spied our needs from across the room, gave us a few options and then sold us the cheaper option because we didn't need the more expensive style for our device. Awesome customer service, I can't recommend this place enough!

Good & Poor... They had the exact battery I wanted, good! Employee attitude poor! I wanted a replacement battery for the hand set for my very old cordless home phone, and yes, I still have a land line. I had the owner's manual and showed the battery specifications to the employee. Without having to look he said he had that exact replacement battery, walked to the wall display, and retrieved a battery. I checked the specifications shown on the battery against the owner's manual designated specifications and they matched. Good job! He knows his inventory. On the downside, his eyes, facial expression, body language, and tone of voice all said the he really did not want to be there. I rank 'people' highest in what I remember about any interaction. Hence, the three stars.

I went to Battery World about a month ago. Prior to going to Battery World, I had just left Firestone Complete Auto Care. I had a scheduled appointment. I had a complete auto vehicle inspection. I purchased four (4) tires, wheel alignment, and a free battery check. I was informed I needed to replace my battery(24F-6). Plus, I wasn't asked to pop my hood. The service technician did his job. At Firestone Complete care, received excellent customer service.I had arrived at Battery World, there were two males employees standing at the counter doing absolutely nothing. One of employee was looking at his cellphone. They were standing idol(absolutely doing nothing). I wanted to see whether or not if my battery was still under warranty.I made the employee aware that I had purchased my battery from there store about two years. I informed him my battery was checked at Firestone Complete Care. I stated I might need a new battery. We went outside where my car was parked. The employee asked me pop my hood. I mentioned to him I didn't know where the button was located. He stated, his mother know how to pop her hood. I was shocked by his comment. I am a female (senior citizen with health issues). I had expected for him to do his job.He went back inside the store to get this device to check my battery. I was informed I need a battery, plus my battery was no longer under warranty . I paid for the battery. The employee removed the old battery. He back into the store; he can back outside with a new battery. He tried to installed the battery. He noticed that my posts were in a different direction. He had to removed the connections. He went back in the store as a second time to get the correct battery a size 24 F-700CCA.First he didn't know the product, plus he made unprofessional comments about his mother. He put in the wrong battery( size 24 -700CCA instead of a size 24 F 700CCA). I asked the employee for a correct and accurate receipt showing the correct battery size 24 F- 700CCA that I had purchased. He refused. And gave me an excuse. All sudden the other male employee started shouting. He was shouting because I requested for a corrected and accurate receipt I told him that I was a senior citizen. He stated, he didn't care. He had unprofessional behavior. It was a bit scary. He continued to shouting, being rude, and very unprofessional behavior. I was shocked. I received poor customer service. I asked for the manager. In a rude manner, he stated, we are both managers. I shocked. I asked for corporate phone number. I asked for the owner name. The other guy said, Tim. I went of Goggle. His name is Timothy Strub. I haven't heard from him after emailing him. I contacted the General Manager Blakes at the Baton Rouge location. I made him aware what had happen at the Metairie location. He apologized. But reassured me that he would informed the owner. They lost a customer forever. In the future, I won't be doing business with this company. The employees were very disrespectful and unprofessional behavior. I regret not purchasing my battery from Firestone Complete Care. I put one star. But they don't deserve a star.

I called the store looking for a battery. They said that they had it in stock so I told the guy that I was coming from the westbank to get it that I was on my way as it was 510pm and the closed at 6. I got there at 540 and they had already locked up for the evening. A guy was sitting at the desk so I knocked on the door. He said they were closed and I told him it wasn’t 6pm yet. His response was he was the only person in the store. Wasted my time. The store has hours of operation for a reason.
