I just want to start off by saying that this animal hospital is so organized and very welcoming when it comes to fur babies. I brought my beloved Oreo here for his checkups and everyone was nothing but nice and explained any and every little thing that had to do with my precious bunny Oreo. Unfortunately due to health issues I had to put my precious fur baby down , the doctors made it as comfortable and respectful as they possibly could with my last moments with him and I will forever be grateful for that. Lastly as I grieve my Oreo , they sent their condolences though a very sweet post card and sent me his little foot prints which i will forever keep and be thankful for . It was very thoughtful . So if you’re looking for a place to fully care for your pets and also a place that is reasonably priced , this is the place . I highly recommend!

I arrived 10 minutes early and they still took me in with zero wait time. All workers were very friendly and full of life and the doctor was extremely knowledgeable and did a great job at answering all of my questions about my pet parrot. They provided me with additional printed out information regarding how to properly care of my pet. 10/10 experience ??

Dr. Zieve DMV was very professional pleasant and knowledgeable of the care my bearded dragon Sage needed! Thanks to her, my baby is recovering tremendously!. Avian & Exotic Animal Hospital is also very affordable. Thanks ?

We had our 1st appt for our Red Footed Tortoise and everyone was wonderful. The Dr. was extremely knowledgeable and willing to answer any questions. The business is located on the I-10 Svc Rd, has off street parking and the facilities are extremely clean. I highly recommend this Veterinarian.

Very grateful I was recommended to Avian & Exotic Animal Hospital. Never been but I recently got two bunnies, one did not make it and they explain to me it was not my fault. Everyone there is so sweet and understanding.
My pickles was checked and everything is good. The vet techs are super cool and nice. I didn't get the guys name that helped but he was awesome and very good and the lady that talked to me about everything and explain things to me. The sweetest. I know if i ever have a question I will call them.

Great vet clinic. Dr Rich is amazing and so knowledgeable. He really cares. Not very expensive compared to dog and cat vets.

Warning pet lovers...
Brought my beloved canary and because his perch fell and so did he. He was a little flustered and being a loving owner I brought him in to get him checked out. I was told for an emergency visit you cannot go to the back you have to give them your pet to take to the back and then they will come get you when the doctor is ready. 30 minutes later the doctor is at the door calling me back with a sad look on his face. He claims he gave my bird oxygen and he died. I actually fell for it. I believed this was true. Now I know that it is not.
Beware pet lovers! These people euthanize at their own whim. If you love your pet bring it somewhere else. My sweet bird was nowhere near death's door. I just wanted a professional opinion on his little foot. That's it there was no blood no sickness. It makes me sick that I believed Dr Rich was better than this. He chose to euthanize my sweet baby. Wow! If you don't believe this review read all the other reviews that say the same thing. You may have to scroll back a bit. But beware. Do not surrender your beloved pet to these people trusting that they will try to save life. Nope. They feel like they know better and they don't care how you feel about your baby.

I highly recommend taking your birds or exotic pets here. The staff is friendly and professional, and Dr Pence is very knowledgeable and was gentle with my green cheek conure Houdini. He was very calm with her, I am so happy I chose this avian hospital for Houdini & will be recommending them to everyone.

I came here because no vets near me could take my pet frog on a notice shorter than two weeks from now. While they are far from me, the trip was WELL worth it, and they treated my frog expertly. I received necessary medication and am confident that with their care and guidance she will get back to her normal self soon. Dr. Pence was the one who saw her and she was very kind and knowledgeable.
