And most of these AutoZone zones, you can recycle batteries. As a tradesmen like myself, I like to bring in batteries that come off of generators and sometimes cars. For a while, I would bring it to this store because they’re maximum rate of batteries. A day is five batteries. So I will bring five batteries or so every three or four months depending on the time, and just so happens today on March 13th, 2025, they only take two maximum batteries a day. Well, that inconveniences me very much so, to where I am will now be taking my batteries elsewhere, as it’s a waste of time to do. Even so the store manager here, Miss Jeriomne, argued with me and saying she was the manager, and that was her rule here. Thank you, AutoZone. I will no longer going back to this AutoZone, even if my life depended on it. They used to be very nice couple years ago, but they have since changed and are very rude to their customers. I will now start going to different AutoZone’s because of all this. Normally, you would have trouble with the Northland stores because of lack of knowledge or care there, but it seems that it’s starting to penetrate into Metairie stores, unfortunately.

The worst AutoZone ever I went in on a Sunday night at 6 PM because my car battery was barely starting up the whole point of going to AutoZone was to get my battery checked so if I needed a new one, I would buy one and have them install it like they normally do well I go to the clerk at around 6 PM to check out and ask them if they can test my battery and she says it’s too cold for her to even come outside when it’s only 48° outside what kind of buffoonery is this? This AutoZone absolutely sucks. The worst part about it is I called AutoZone 15 minutes away and asked if they could come check my battery and replace it if needed and they said come right away and I they asked me why I’m even calling in the first place and I said because I’m already at an AutoZone that’s 20 minutes away that refuses to come outside and check my battery.

They will check and replace your battery for you if needed. Not always the quickest place to go, especially if there are more than a few people in the store, but they are nice and will try to help.

The staff at this store may be the most unwelcoming and unprofessional I have ever encountered. I have given them a second and third chance, but I cannot imagine any situation that would warrant returning there.

I don't know if it's my age or how people are today.
No help from employees. No greetings, no personality, no manners. Sad what is happening to this country! When southern men act appropriate -it's time for a change!

The trashiest and most disgusting service I have ever had or seen in an auto place. I went to get brake pads for a temporary use until I get the ones from genuine bmw delivered and installed. So I thought about autozone (have been more of an advanced auto and oreilly customer lately). I got there an african American lady with a blonde wig on came out of the back rude and mad with herself. She literally yelled YES? I asked to get the pads I saw online then I asked about the sensor if it comes with it. Her answer was sensor what sensor what you mean sensor. I replied that bmw pads come with sensors that’s the ones I want. She tried to argue with me telling me that my car is the sensor it’s the car that tells you when the pads go bad. Yes ma’am but THRU the sensor that communicated with the car computer!! Then she has gotten all crazy and disrespectful in front of a customer. She was just so ignorant and delusional. How can you employ and keep someone like that ? Very disappointed. She needs to get trained. And the cherry on the cake, she said “well it comes with whatever it says it comes with on the description” that was a disaster. Will never step foot there again yall lost a big customer because of her. And I m going to spread the word. She is not fit for the position. She is not fit for any position at all actually.

Worst auto zone I’ve ever been to staff is just standing around chilling while your holding stuff standing in line. Straight up clowns and unprofessional.

Friday evening I placed an order online. There were two people working, Ryan and a girl with blonde hair. Both of them were very nice and had great energy! Ryan helped replace my battery. Please acknowledge these two, they're an asset! #HeeHaw

UPDATED REVIEW:
The Regional Manager contacted me and was very respectful and apologetic about the situation! I respect her for personally contacting me from her personal number! I had to provide the update to let people know that she fixed this and reached out! Much respect! She represented her company WELL!
I deleted the bad review because she handled it! Thank you!!!

My battery barely started my vehicle this morning, and I had a bunch of errands to run plus drop and pick up kids from camp. Mike, the salesperson and tech at the Veterans location in Metairie, kindly verified that my battery was in need of replacement. He changed out the battery for me, and the whole process took less than 10 minutes. Highly recommend Mike and the location on Vets. Thank you for making my day happen!
