These are honest and hard working people. I’m a was demanding customer in a stressful situation. Even I wouldn’t want to have to deal with me and they did so with professionalism and grace. I wish I would have found them at the start of my journey with my transmission issues.

If you need transmission repairs done. This is the place to go. Great staff, and they stand by their work. This is the only mechanic shop I will go to.

I got my transmission rebuild by these guys damn near 4,000 dollars and go to pick up my truck it was pouring out oil, I couldn’t even drive it off and then they charged me another 1,000 for a problem they created and didn’t stand behind the problem they caused and every since then I been having major oil leaks since I let them work on my suv seem like they rigged my car to empty my pockets

They were suppose to give 1st class auto before doing the work. 1st class auto did not give me a price and approved the new transmission to be put in. Now 1st. Class auto want half down and the rest to be added to the payments. Mind you, it's been nearly 2 weeks without a car. My wife was unable to work and thus put us behind on bills. We will not be able to afford to get the car back. 5 thumbs down on 1st class about and poor management by custom built automotive. Because I called them to get a price and I was told to call 1st class suto. Both of theses businesses should be put out of business!!!!!!!!!!

After dealing with god awful customer service, getting surprise charges that weren't communicated, and taking weeks longer than promised, several months later I'm having issues with related parts due to complete negligence and incompetence. Bolts completely rounded off, some not even tight and able to be undone by hand. Drive shaft not in proper placement, u-joints disintegrated, and noises. I would NOT recommend this company to my worst enemy. I would STRONGLY advise going Anywhere else... Now I've got to go take it to real mechanics to address this issue and any other issues related to their screw up.

Suppose to have trans. serviced. Oil change. Filter change. Fuel filters changed. Tires rotated. Used these guys for the last 20 years for transmission services. The truck was picked up. I spent $850.00 for all of this to be done. Truck came back with oily hand prints around the truck. Steering wheel was full of oil. The bottom of the truck is full of oil and transmission fuel. There’s actual oil on my hitch in the back. Will need to get it cleaned and make sure I don’t have a leak. I have a puddle of fluid under where I parked it. I’m only 4 miles away from the shop and the oil is black as can be. Was suppose to have been changed. I really feel I need to change it again. Don’t believe they did it.Services: Transmission repair
