This is the most caring clinic I have ever had the pleasure of doing business with. I was sold before I ever visited them as a friend used Dr Oliver when her dog got too sick to come home and Dr Oliver took the pooch home with her to keep an eye on him! Talk about awesome!! Every single person that works there is great! I'd have to move miles away to keep us, Holly and myself, from coming to this clinic!

Dr. Olivier is the best of the best. She is so caring and you really can tell that she followed a calling. The staff that I encounter are extremely helpful. I love that they all seem to be like family. It makes me feel more at ease when I know my little babies are in good hands no matter the problem. I also like that she is straight forward with what is going on. When it's tense she cracks a joke to break the ice. Going to this facility is truly in your little angel's best interest. They also remember my kid's birthday's and send him birthday cards every year. I think that is adorable. The prices aren't bad either.

I was recently visiting my sister in New Orleans, who has been a client of Dr. Olivier with her dogs for many years. My two puppies had come with me on this trip, and they needed to have stitches removed from a procedure that was done 10 days before in Texas. A lot of vets do not want to remove stitches if the surgery was not done by them, and this was a holiday week, so this could have been an issue that would require me to cut my trip short. I called Acadiana West and told them my sister's dogs were patients and asked if it might be possible for Dr. Olivier to remove the stitches, and they immediately scheduled an appointment for me, working me into their already busy schedule one day before the holiday. It was clear this wasn't done as an opportunity to make money but was instead a courtesy extended because my sister was a client. I had already heard my sister sing Dr. Olivier's praises for years, and this just solidified in my mind why my sister would drive all the way to Acadiana West when there are lots of vets closer to her location. Not only is Dr. Olivier an exceptionally knowledgeable veterinarian, she clearly values her clients and will go above and beyond for them. If I ever move back to Louisiana, Dr. Olivier will definitely be the vet I choose for my pets.

Dr. Sue saved my baby girls life. How many vets will set up a lab account In another state just to save a grieving mommy some money while trying to figure out what is wrong with her angel. Acadiana West and all of the staff go beyond and above and beyond. If I was forced to choose... I would give them 10 stars

I can't say enough wonderful things about Dr Olivier and her staff. When my 13 year old Boxer began to have issues walking and with incontinence, Dr Olivier was able to help ease his discomfort and buy us a couple more months with him which included meeting his new human brother. When he passed, she sent us a handwritten sympathy card which was much appreciated. She also cares for the animals of my in-laws and when their lab collapsed, she was quick to identify the issue and get him into surgery. No one expected him to make it due to the sheer size of the tumor and his advanced age but he did wonderfully and is back to chasing treats and squirrels. When we got our new boxer, there was absolutely no question who we would choose to take care of him. Dr Olivier truly loves animals and what she does and it shows.

I had an appt for my cat to get shots & asked if they would bathe her while she was there. I was instructed to have her there by 9:30. When I arrived they were trying to not do her bath since the groomer is pregnant & then said they would have to sedate her if I insisted on them bathing her. Really? Since my cat is not a struggler & only cries with her baths & is getting old I asked them not to sedate her. Their price sheet says $25 they charged me $35, when I picked her up she was still shedding all over the place, the total bill was $191 for a 7# cat to get shots, 3 month supply of revolution & a pathetic excuse for a bath. I will definitely use furry friends next time. It would had been nice for the staff to be a little more friendlier also. I've learned my lesson on convenience.

I would not take any more pets here. We had two cat. I wasn't happy with the treatment one of our cats had, and when we had to have my 16 year old cat put down, they were so sloppy that they put the needle in wrong and had my poor cat yowl in pain! As if that day wasn't horrible enough. I ran out in tears hearing him cry out in pain in his last minutes in my world. Never again here.

They mailed me a pre-typed-up postcard that said "We look forward to seeing your pet back for check ups soon!" as if they didn't know that my pet DIED that day. How hard is it to just not mail the stupid "thanks for giving us money" postcard? Dr.Rich at West Esplanade mailed me a personal and handwritten sympathy card. At least there's some doctors out there who care about their customers/patients.
