“This place is amazing! I’m here visiting my parents and needed some toys for my 1 and 4 year old to help keep them entertained. I’m a hardcore thrifting mama and wife who likes to save where she can so I googled this place and fortunately it’s near my parents home. Vince greeted me as soon as I walked in the door. I’m big on that. I like to feel welcome when I enter an establishment so I appreciated it very much. Vince and I small talked about our families and he was just so pleasant to speak with. I told him what I needed and he immediately started helping me find toys, test them and recommend others he had in the back. I was also able to treat myself to some body oil that smelled really good. They had a little of everything: Christmas, birthday, hygiene, beauty, jewelry, clothes, books, toys, shoes, sunglasses, candy, soda & the list goes on. I think I even saw a wedding gown! While it is a 2nd hand store, there were quite a few items that were unopened…so you may even be able to find a birthday or Christmas gift for a loved one here. I also spotted a few vintage items too! This place is seriously a dream for whoever likes a good budget friendly shopping experience. The prices are actual second hand prices. I’m not sure what happened but some thrift stores don’t have thrift prices…Finnegan’s Finds Thrift Shop does. Thank you so much Vince for having great customer service & for being kind. My boys have already started playing with their fire house and cars. They’re so happy and this mama is too. I don’t live here but I’ll be sure to stop by whenever I’m in town. FIVE STARS!”

“My wife and I recently had the pleasure of visiting Griffin’s Antiques for the first time, and we were genuinely impressed. This charming shop, part of a growing network of small businesses, is revitalizing downtown Bunkie and breathing new life into the community.

As we wandered through the store, we were greeted by a warm atmosphere filled with unique treasures and nostalgic finds. Each section of the shop offered something different, making our experience feel like a delightful treasure hunt.

After browsing, we couldn’t resist sampling some of the delicious offerings available. From classic glass-bottled sodas to an array of locally made pies and pastries, our taste buds were well satisfied. We also enjoyed hearty brisket sandwiches and some comforting Louisiana favorites like red beans and rice and gumbo.

The staff made us feel right at home, embodying the welcoming spirit of the community. Their passion for the shop and commitment to downtown Bunkie's revitalization truly stood out.
