I was comming to this office for about 22 years and have never experience issues till last 2023 year. Only person that deserves 5 stars is Johnathan he would go beyond and help you to resolve issue.I think some incompetent employees should have consequences, especially when mistakes are repeated and representative is arguing with you. Another issue -for some time we have a new mail carrier in our neighborhood and I refuse to be a wrong addressed mail distributor after she passes our house. There are 4 different streets in this neighborhood that have the same numbers and I always receive the wrong mail. Can please someone tell her to read carefully to who this mail belongs to. I am talking about Tall Timbers subdivision in Mandeville.

The postal service should be shut down completely. I don't know how many times I've had packages routed from New Orleans to St Rose when they are destined for Mandeville. That or no one knows where it is. Then when asking the brain deads behind the counterYou see why they can't get anything done.

Great location. I've never had a bad experience with the people who work here. It's still the USPS, and my package to a friend is now 3 days past due.

I have been coming to this post office ever since I moved to the North shore and they are the most comical and they have a way of making you feel calm and relaxed even when you are the last person in line!

The guy with the glasses behind the counter is really obnoxious. Otherwise, it’s a good post office

My package arrived at the Mandeville post office but instead of putting it on a truck for delivery THEY SHIPPED IT TO HAMMOND, LA. 25 miles away!!!Only the government would continue to employ this level on incompetence.

I love Mandeville post office. On 18 April 2023, tax day, I wanted to ensure my tax payment to the IRS was post marked. I parked, walked in, stood in 3rd position in line waiting patiently for the 3 postal workers to service the 2 people ahead of me. Twenty minutes later, I walked up, asked the postal worker to post mark my pre-stamped and pre-addressed envelope, which they did in less than 2 seconds. The worker shouted "Next!" and I quietly walked away. I'm always in and out in under 30 minutes whenever I need to buy stamps or send a package and there are only 1 or 2 people ahead of me, with 3 staff working furiously to service the volume. Note: the 3 giant mail boxes that are drive up have crime scene tape on them and a handwritten sign that says out of service. I suppose they need the USPS to come and fix the mailboxes at USPS to get them back in service. This was as of April 2023.

Incredible. He didn't have a name tag on but he was very helpful. Much better experience at this post office than the Abita one. I would go out of my way up to here. Maybe you guys can teach your northern neighbors to be less worthless.

All employees are rude with bad attitudes. If you hate your job so much get a new one.

DON'T GO ANYWHERE ELSE FOR YOUR PASSPORT NEEDS. I was pretty clueless about renewing my passport, but Alicia took care of everything. I needed my passport expedited and was quoted over $700 to have it expedited to 5 weeks on a different website. I was shocked when the total to expedite my passport was a fraction of the price i was quoted for the same amount of time at USPS. Walgreens also messed up my passport photo, but Alicia kindly offered to redo the photo right then and there. If Alicia isn't already the manager, she should be! I haven't been this impressed by someone's grace, composure and helpfulness in awhile!

This is my favorite post office I've ever used. Easy parking, very nice staff, very clean up-to-date building. The new kiosk makes shipping stuff during off hours really easy.

Clerk had me fill out a customs form and step to the closed window to her left and then she'd attend to me. She disappears for 10-15 minutes then comes back to hand off a package to someone and puts on her purse to leave. I called her attention that I was ready and she told me one of the other two clerks would help me. Could not even bother to finish attending to me. Pathetic customer service. Her break took priority over finishing attending to a customer. I just left to stop from blowing up. Going to FedEx.

I was promised to be able to mail a parcel to Russia on the phone by a USPS agent from this location. I came to the location, waited in the line for about 20-25 minutes, was told to fill out some paperwork and buy some packing tape by a USPS worker at the counter. Then, after doing all of that, and waiting another 10-15 minutes in the line, I was finally told by another USPS worker at the counter, that the parcel cannot be mailed to Russia, and I didn’t need the tape, however, since it has been used to tape the box already, I did have to pay for it. It is because services are suspended right now (I guess political reasons.) Not only I and my family have to suffer because of the political decisions that I and my family personally have very little to nothing to do with, also my time has clearly been treated in ways that are far from respectful and considerate, I would say. Absolutely unacceptable.
