Went to the slidell store earlier to cancel my cable. Employee was unfriendly and not helpful. Return my box to the mandeville store and spoke with ronald, Extremely helpful and polite. Wound up saving another thirty dollars monthly after his suggestions.

Just a story of Spectrum "service":My internet service didn't reboot when a 12 hour outage, one of many outages, ended. From just about midnight on a Wednesday through the following Tuesday at 5 pm it was out. I had scheduled service to restore my lost internet after the 12 hour outage. And despite terrible internet reliability, I was going to reorder their cable television service in my house once my internet was restored. But unbeknownst to me, Spectrum had an agenda. The Spectrum "service" took 6 1/2 hours and no less than 3 service people & trucks! No one showed me a work order. I received no confirmation of who my service person would be. I got my sister to stay with me for a time since I felt uneasy. After hours I was overwhelmed & exhausted by this epic work event - anyone would be but it was made harder as an effect of my disability. I explained that effect & asked them repeatedly to finish or stop what they were doing. They did not give any concern to my concern or misery. And when I told the last service person, as he was finally leaving after 6 1/2 hours, that I didn't have internet back - he told me, with some vengefully pleased tone why they were "really" there. I quote: "Spectrum cut your house's line deliberately. They were tired of not being admitted to your house for a service call. So even though they know you weren't using the tv lines this was done to remove them." He sneered & added "You & your house were a problem because there was "noise" traced in the line from your idle tv wires in your attic." He said, " I was here to "downgrade your house & remove them. I have done that. Technically I'm free to leave. That's all the order was for." I was shocked. He finally said he would "try to get the internet back". I called Spectrum while he worked. The automated system asked if I was "satisfied with the downgrade work on my house". He was right. They weren't sent to restore my internet or anything I'd given permission to do. I was the victim of deliberate sabotage to gain entry to my house for an over 6 hour invasion of my privacy. I felt so violated. Finally internet was restored & the last Spectrum worker left. Repeated anxiety attacks resulted for days following. There was nothing friendly or helpful to me about this deliberately cut wire or the removal of the possibility for tv service without even more work & hours of Spectrum invasion. It is very important to note that no one from Spectrum advised me of this work nor had ever mentioned that their system had any issue requiring removal of my idle tv lines. It is important to note that I had asked in phone calls to Spectrum to report or resolve other outages why I was being sent notices for service as, when we didn't have outages that were usually area wide, my internet was fine. I was told by their personnel it was just for a standard check up & not a necessary thing. So... with their own people having been why they weren't given a service call and without ever saying anything about a problem. This deliberately cut wire & no compensation for the 7 day deliberate outage & a 6 1/2 hour invasion of privacy was Spectrum's idea of "service". My internet only service is now the exact same as it ever was - fine whenever it's up. They say they removed my idle tv cable service wires. They did succeed in not getting a 4 tv order for cable service & hopefully another company will soon be my internet provider.

Make sure you read the fine print. No proration of services rendered when cancelling a day after new billing cycle begins. Prices kept rising while services and quality kept getting worse. Look for alternate internet provider is my recommendation.

I called into Spectrum to resolve an issue, but they messed it up entirely. Brittany Loup who works at this store did a phenomenal job. She was extremely patient with me, directed me into the correct direction, and spent close to 2 hours fixing said issue that was no where near her fault. Spectrum could use more employees like Brittany.

Convenient location. The staff is not so impressive. 2 occasions to just change out remotes. Done quickly, but not very professional or customer service greeting skills..

Horrible customer service. Can't talk to anyone just a robot and if it doesn't fit into their profile it dumps your call.

Good looking, clean store. Every employee greeted me. I needed help activating a phone. I was in and out in 10 minutes. No line. No waiting.

Very thankful for how nice and hard working Brittany Loup was. There were 6 people in the store and all other employees walked outside or to the back and left Brittany completely alone to help out everyone. She did a wonderful job and was extremely friendly and helpful despite her very inconsiderate coworkers.

I was so impressed with the ONLY PERSON in the store that helped me. When I walked in, 3 employees were over to the side chatting about cars. None of them said a word. I went to the counter and waited my turn behind someone. Brittany Loup was incredibly polite and helpful. She was doing all of the work! People doing a great job need to be recognized?. Thank you for your help, Brittany!

The clerk in here was super friendly and personable. She was extremely helpful work the questions I had for her about setting up and installing my new modem and router for Internet. Overall a great experience.

Store personnel is fine and professional. Spectrum service, however, is about the worst it could possibly be for internet. Not only will they more than double your promotional rate, they will not deliver the speeds for internet that they promise to deliver or that you subscribe to. It's more like 40-60% on average, with an occasional spike to what you are suppose to get. Also expect an outage nightly for 10 minutes, with occasional inexplicable loss of service at various times throughout the day. Beware...Run away from this service provider at all costs. The competition not only charges much less, but provides much better service.And posting on their internal editable/censorable resources such as those listed below will do nothing to help warn those unsuspecting potential customers.
