The worst experience ever!! Not recommended. They allow me to place a lab order through there website for my 4yrs old autistic child. I go to the lab show them the confirmation, they withdrew blood and will wait for the following day to revive the lab request. Next day no requests went to lab , called them and they told me we don’t accept labs for paediatric patient!!! So how come you let people place orders make payment and get blood from a child withdrawn thinking everything is ok then figure out that they don’t accept paediatric orders. What a pathetic healthcare service. No one even bothered to call and letting us know.

Our experience has been good for the most part since we began using Direct labs. However, we had a problem with one order. At first, we purchased two tests for my daughter and the orders were separate. No confusion, and we were happy. Later, we purchased two tests for my son, but the orders were combined unbeknownst to us. We saw one order so we paid for the second one again. We had the bloodwork done and after getting the results, realized that we’d been charged twice for the same test. We asked the representative if they could give us our money back or let us do the test another time at no charge, but the supervisor and CEO said no. We received no real benefit from the extra $59 we spent. Neither we nor their staff noticed the problem. It wouldn’t make sense though to perform the same test on the same person in one sitting. We feel the inconsistency in the way the company handles the orders led to our loss and they should make good on it this time.... Read More

Awesome. I ordered a panel from them, had a requisition in under 2 hours. The next day I brought the requisition to Quest, got blood drawn in 15 minutes, and had results the next day. You saved me about 4 hours of my life considering how long it would take for me to get an appointment with my GP.

Lab tests without medical office intervention, welcome to the 21st century! I have used Directlabs for blood tests (cholesterol, glucose, etc.), as well as other lab tests for about 5 years now. Your tests are always at the directlabs.com portal, whether you change medical insurances, have no medical insurance for a period of time, or any other reason. Too many times, your work changes medical insurance carriers, or you yourself change medical insurance carriers, and all of your online lab tests from the past are no longer available. Too many times, a doctor has you come in just to write test orders, then reschedules you for another visit just to "read" your results, what a joke! There's nothing to understanding test results, there are high and low ranges with each result, and you can get further information on the internet, like webmd.com Directlabs currently uses Quest Diagnostics, a major lab testing facility, just like anyone else. They have a staff doctor which reviews results, and if necessary, will attach a warning-type message to your portal. I would rather pay out of pocket online for routine lab tests, and send the results to my doctor, me being in control of the tests ordered, as well as the results. If my doctor loses the results, I can go to the directlabs portal, print another one, and resend it. Directlabs unlocks the black box of lab testing, and removes the veil of mystery that some doctors wrap lab tests in to the patient. A+++ Directlabs

Since it is so very rare to experience prompt, knowledgable AND courteous service in the medical industry, DirectLabs more than deserves a favorable review. The medical world needs to model themselves off of this company. Thank you !
