Unfortunately, I was mistaken.
I thought this was a full-service mechanic shop.
After their initial diagnosis and determination of a #1 cylinder misfire, the service writer told me it would take three days of further diagnostics to find the cause of the misfire. I didn't have three days. The second shop had a faulty coil pack diagnosed and repaired in 3hrs.

Towed my car to Christian Bros Auto in Mandeville for a corroded battery, fixed issue for free. No sweat, no hassle, just fantastic people.

We used Christian Brothers in the past and were quite satisfied with their work.
Our recent experience with them was very disappointing.
My husband brought his car to Christian Brothers to diagnose the problem and get an estimate to repair his car.
He paid over a hundred dollars to receive a $4500 quote to repair his car.
His car is a 2012. He didn’t want to spend over $4,000 to repair an older car.
We contacted a certified master mechanic who recently retired to get his opinion.
He asked to view the photos that Christian Brothers gave to my husband.
He understood that we didn’t want to spend that much money on repairs and ordered parts for us. The parts costs us $250. He generously offered to repair the car.
We didn’t allow him to do the work for free. It took him about 2 hours to fix the car. We paid him $250.00 for his labor.
Christian Brothers said multiple things needed to be replaced. There was only one thing that needed immediate attention.
So, for $500 the car is running in satisfactory condition. I don’t think we will be taking our car back to Christian Brothers for estimates or repairs.
Of course, at some point, we will be looking into buying a new car, instead of sinking a lot of money into an older model.
We will also look for a new shop to do any future repairs.
We don’t want to impose on the mechanic who fixed our car. He has worked hard for over 30 years and enjoying his retirement. We certainly appreciate his honesty in assessing the cost of repairs to the car and doing great work.

If you like wasting money and not getting your car fixed take it to this place. I took my car here for a issue I have been having with a stabilitrack message and my car losing power and was told they can’t fix it which is understandable but it took them 4 days just to tell me they can’t fix my car. On top of that they charged $180 to do so. This is bad business and shouldn’t happen. I have never taken my car to a shop and still been charged for the issue that did not get resolved. I was given the Justification of “we still checked all the wiring harnesses” as to why the can charge $180 for that. I should have been informed that they did not have the capabilities to check for computer based issues ahead of time instead of just being scammed out of my money and 4 days. I will never take a vehicle here again and you shouldn’t either. Additionally as I was heading home I attempted to use my turn signal and it no longer makes the indicator sound. Unsure if the light works but after consulting the individual that worked on my car supposedly the module that controls my traction control system also affects the blinker….this problem was obviously caused by them but they refused to participate in legitimate business practices and instead make excuses. I brought the car in with a working blinker and left with a broken one I guess it’s just the Christian Brothers “Magic”.
Update: took my car to a Chevrolet dealership and they discovered that whoever looked at my car misdiagnosed it with computer failures and was entirely a corroded ground on the battery terminal. So good job Christian Brothers your techs wasted 4 days of mine and hundreds of dollars because you forgot the basics. At the end of this message Christian Brothers claims to have called me multiple times without answering, this is completely untrue I have not received a singular call from them. Very very unprofessional to LIE.

After receiving a call from Rick at Christian brothers I learned there was a miscommunication and they are making it right. Very happy with a company that can own up to their mistakes and make it right with covering the repair under warranty.
Very disappointed…I mentioned that there was an odd noise coming from my truck and asked if they could listen for it while in for an oil change. They said I needed to leave it with them but they would call me with their findings. I agreed. After hearing nothing from them for 7 hours, I go back to pick it up. They hit me with a $340 bill for the oil change and inspection fee to replace the passenger CV joint that would cost another $750 to replace. Frustrated I pay the bill and leave…only to find out they had just replaced that same CV joint a little over a year ago. I email them and get no response. I do not recommend going here. I had been a customer for 6+ years and have never been charged a $120 inspection fee that they did not mentioned on the front end.

Brought it in late Friday. They gave me a call on Monday and ready on Tuesday. I have no clue what the going labor cost is to fix my car but I do not feel uncomfortable with the quote. If something happens (it is inevitable) I will bring it there.

Hands-down, the best customer service on the North Shore. Can’t thank them enough for their hard-working integrity. Thank you, Christian Brothers.

Super professional and efficient. I love the electronic estimate process with all details presented for review. Your facilities are immaculate for a car repair company. Extremely well designed. I love that aspect. Great business model.

Just moved to Louisiana. Have to replace all my vendors. CBA was a great find. Great ratings, friendly staff, and honesty. Went in for oil change tire rotation. They found one damaged part and a filter that needed changing. Reasonable cost, and gave me a national list to get help if my jeep needs repair our of town. Bonus security.

I brought my vehicle in on Thursday and it was ready for pick up on Friday. I went to pick it up and had to turn back around to bring it back. Something else needed to be fixed that I was hoping to put off a little longer but oh well. These guys went above and beyond to get my 2002 running like brand new. Shout out to Jerry for everything. He is the one who told us to bring my vehicle in, he has kept us updated on everything, and helped ease our minds through the whole process. 10/10 recommend this company and location! We will be back for all future needs on all cars!
