Mamou Superette is a very busy and respectable store, known for being clean inside and out. The owners are nice and the service is great. The fried chicken is considered the best, juiciest, and tastiest in town by some. However, other items like the chicken strips or tenders and fries are reported to have no seasoning and can be very dry, though the strips are called edible. Biscuits and rice dressing are good. The store also sells Delta 8 and 9 products and various glassware.
Sometimes they are friendly sometimes their looks could turn you to stone like Medusa. The chicken strips are currently the only edible food they sell.
