“My shrimp and crab stew was over the top good. Only a tiny dining area. Price point was right. It's not fancy. U don't pay up for delicious here. Can't wait to go back. It's the perfect place for "date night" lunch if u bring ur own candle, don't mind rubbing elbows with all the local oilfield workers, have an understanding girl who can't get enough legit rice and gravy and u want a candy bar for dessert. Takes the right woman. When u find her you'll know.”

“My first time eating at Duffy’s in New Iberia, I had their chili-dog and was seriously disappointed- the chili was unimpressive, the bun was a basic bun, but worst of all was the smallish wiener that was bright red, likely saturated with Red Dye #2.Meanwhile, a week later at this place for the first time, for about the same price, I got a seriously delicious oversized chili dog on a local bakery fresh bun!Way to go Jeanerette! :)Oh, and they have indoor, sit-down tables and a wall-mounted TV!”

“Leleaux Grocery store is the best stop around that area. The price are the same but very convenient. Now on the other hand the manager is very rude to everyone that enters the star. Everyone says the same about her ."Maybe she doesn't like her job but who would?" We all think that if the owner witch is not paying anyone enough to work there, would have taken his time to hire his staff better than the store would be a lot better and a lot more people would spend their hard working money there!!”
