“I have been known to drive 4 1/2 hours from northeast Texas to get their food. Am I crazy? Probably. But don’t judge me unless you have tried the Champagne Marche boudin or sausages or stuffed roast or king cake. The most amazing, delicious, heavenly foods. I bring a few big ice chests and fill them up with goodies. Worth the drive? Absolutely.And the owners are some really nice folks.”

“Nice place. Sometimes you’ll find feces on the floor of the restrooms. To be expected in a restroom but when I worked there it was more prominent then any other restroom I’ve had to clean in my near 20 years of life. Like every now and then in Opelousas vs never in my life!So naw they messy over there. Good store but messy. Occasionally you’ll find full diapers in the lot aswell.”

Not only was the taste phenomenal, but the portion sizes were generous, making it an incredible value for the price. The customer service was as excellent as ever, adding to the overall experience. “They just changed management as well as the cashier crew and it is very much so recognized. The store just reopened today after a quick remodel. I can hardly wait to check out how it turned out. Before the change of crew, the store was always disorganized and workers weren't trained well in customer service area. So needless to say good job Dollar General in Krotz Springs on the shopping experience there as a whole.”

“It's a large clean store. They pretty well have what you need. Employees are nice. Handicap parking and entrance. I don't know if they have a public bathroom.”
“It's a nice convenience store, out in a more country location. Don't let this fool you, I buy 12 pack DP already cold for 5.50$ plus my cigarettes and beer on my way home. LoL. All jokes aside, I spend less stopping there . Than going all the way to OP , than Lafayette. Also the BD links and pizza is pretty good. Also I won a 1.000$ scratch off there. I never won anything close to that scratch off. My one is, you never know what potential a place has until you give them a chance to serve you. Plus I got to be Buddy with him and he a good man. What got me was he has been taking his dad with him every where he goes. He just needs to be looked after and company. I have respect for that. We should take care of our parents when they get too old to do by themselves. This is why the owner is a good guy, one of the many things should I say.”
“The employee are not stocking all of the Lysol disinfectant spray and disinfectant wipes. They are keeping it for themselves so when the customers go to buy Lysol disinfectant spray and disinfectant wipes there are none on the shelves. I understand there is high demand but they are keeping the Lysol disinfectant products for themselves- the employees instead waiting until they clock out after work and purchases these products like a customer. If I go in the general store in Port Barre when the truck comes in on Thursday, I ask the workers when will they stock Lysol Disinfectant Spray and wipes shelves. The workers will lie to me when they are going to but the items on the shelf to make sure when I come back there are none on the shelves. The General Dollar store workers are not putting all the Lysol disinfectant sprays and wipes on the shelf for the customers to buy because the general dollar store workers are taking most of Lysol disinfectant sprays and wipes for themselves. Also, at the General Dollar store if a customer ask a General Dollar Store worker/cashier if they have any Lysol Disinfectant spray, they look at you as if you curse them out that’s how bad it is because they”
