Had to stop quick when the car started beeping it was empty on a recent road-trip. I have 3 requests at gas stations. Clean restrooms and fun food for refueling us in car. Ice tea, crushed ice and styrofoam cups (ice lasts longer in this heat). Omg to my surprise Hilgers Chevron hit all and then some. Fun local Cajun snacks we tried Cajun brand ginger cake and sweet dough tart with our sweet tea with crushed ice and styrofoam cups super size to last the rest of the trip. Clean single service restroom stocked for all needs. Waiting on Tiki Hubby I roamed the store more like a rustic museum. See photos. Young man behind the counter was so friendly sharing the story of the wood used in the display. Not telling you need to make this a stop when en route.

Nice, simple hometown gas station. Great old school cup of coffee and I grabbed a sausage, egg and cheese biscuit. Best breakfast sandwich I ever had. And a coffee and sandwich for only $4 can't be beat anywhere.
