Laplace is an armpit. Nasty portable bathrooms on the side of the building. The hurricane was over a year ago. This place needs a complete remodel, and new employees. It's perfect location as the last exit before the spillway and then nola on i10 is wasted.

The lot is filthy. The building is being renovated so there are port-a-potty's in use. The attendant was nice but taciturn. Inside was bare bones for what was on the shelves.

Sign on cooler said 2 for $2.50 for Rockstar Energy Drink. Cashier rang them up as $4.98 for the two. When I pointed to the sign on the cooler he said that's what they rang up as. Now I have to go out of my way to recoup my discount with management. If you're not going to honor your discount don't post a sign.

No TP in bathrooms, informed cashier who said “yeah that’s why we put the lotto sign in front of the door, but people keep using it”. Ridiculous attitude.

Just left this gas station extremely disappointed. There was another guy who was filling his truck so me and my sister pull in to fill as well. Credit card has been put in to fill and we are getting a message to see the cashier but the building is closed. Seems like the cashier purposely shut down specific gas pumps when we arrived. This was around 11:14pm. How was he able to pump gas and we weren’t is beyond me! I love Shell but screw this location...

Very clean shell station. Good variety of drinks and snacks. The lady at the counter was very friendly as well.
