I just started a new job in Laplace and initially was afraid of not being able to get my ALDI fix. To my surprise, there was an ALDI conveniently located down the road from my job!
Recently, I had an issue where a bag of pasta I purchased was damaged but I had no idea until I got home. Honestly, I was thinking that nobody would care decided to try my luck to bring the package with receipt to the store. A friendly associate, Nate was so friendly and accommodating and explained how this was covered under my "Twice as Nice" promise from the store.
I was floored at how he took care me as if I spent several hundreds of dollars in one visit! A measly two buck package of spaghetti noodles and he not only replaced my pasta noodles, he gave me my two bucks back as part of the Twice as Nice guarantee!
Talk about service! Nate educated me on the policy and explained how ALDI takes customer service and satisfaction seriously, and after how I was treated even over a two dollar bag of pasta, I am sold! I will continue to patronize this store. It's evident that the staff here care about their job and their customers and this experience only galvanized my already positive impression of the store. Thanks again, ALDI!! I am so happy you are in the Laplace community!

I have been an avid Aldi shopper for years. I was so excited when this one appeared close to my work. Have shopped here since the week it opened, NEVER had one issue. On July 26th I shopped, ended up with a full cart. Got up to the front and was told by Nate, unless i had cash i had to use self check out. I told him I had too much for self checkout. He proceeded to tell me “you need to find another store to shop in. This store isn’t for you”. It is very sad for me to give Aldi one star. This is definitely the store for me. But the lip service from this gentleman was completely uncalled for. It is absolutely ridiculous that we have to check ourselves out if we have 30+ items.
