Roxanne was so rude. I called back and she said her name was Lisa. She is the person who explained why they don’t give medication to the animals after a spade surgery because they don’t identify that they are in pain or inflamed from it. She explained that the owner has to request and pay extra for medicine. This is not included in the initial exit prescription for the patient. I had to call to request it and go back there to get it, of which they handed the meds to me and didn’t discuss a charge for it at all. I received a bill for it a month later, of which they should have addressed this issue that day so I can decide if I want it and purchased my own elsewhere. Roxanne/Lisa took ALOT of offense to me because I had questions about their practice and she found it funny while laughing and scuffing about the matter instead of admitting their mistake. They also kept my pet over night after the surgery, without anyone there to help not just my pet but any pets because there isn’t an overnight person there, so pets are alone for nearly 12 hours after a any surgery or procedures. As if anything couldn’t go wrong during that time. Other places allow your pet to go home after. I didn’t appreciate their lack of concern from this place.

The staff was very helpful and very nice and friendly. I highly recommend this clinic. I know they will take care of my fur babies!

The doctors are the best and the staff is a 10 out of 10. Murphy appreciated them and how they immediately knew something was different and he wasn't his usual bouncy self. They are some of my favorite people and I have an incredible amount of respect for them and the work they do.

Thank you to Dr. Heather Theriot and the folks at University Animal Clinic. For your kindness and good advice about traveling on I-10 with a cat. Cat was freaked out but not sick and I was a worried cat Mom, traveling long distance. Thank you for making us both feel better.

The staff was nice and so caring when I dropped my fur baby for boarding. They let me know that he would be taking care of to the fullest and not to worry.

When I make my appointment they always ask if I want a certain vet and I say any one of them are exceptional. My pet and I are treated with kindness and compassion. I love this clinic!! With regards and respect, Rookie Thomas

Unfortunately, I had to go in an hour before closing since my dog had an emergency. I was so glad that they were able to squeeze her in! I get there and the front office was very nice and made me feel like she was in great hands. It’s her turn to go back and the person taking her didn’t seem too interested in taking her in. It was the end of the day so I get it. The environment wasn’t caring or welcoming at all, but again it’s the end of the day. The vet comes in, checks her out and suggests that she gets blood work. I mentioned that she just got blood work at her primary vet and the results came back okay!! Yes, I know that results can change, but it wasn’t too long ago. He was very sarcastic when asking if I got this blood work done “today or yesterday.” Tell me Philip, why would I be here if I got it done either one of those days? This was a very distasteful experience. I haven’t been here in two years since I don’t live here, but BOY have things changed. I’d like to reiterate that the front staff was so nice. Great job on their part!

Entire staff was very friendly and very informative. My dog was as seen very quickly so that took some ease off.
