816 W Bayou Pines Dr, Lake Charleswe have been bringing our babies to Dr. Terry Ford for over 20 years. when he moved to Lake CharLes we decided to stick with him. why? , because he is simply the best .... he cares about our guys , he cares about us as pet parents and he has made us friends , because of his giant heart we would NEVER GO TO ANYONE ELSE. when a vet gets down and holds your babies and cries with you , you better believe he cares and has the superior knowledge to know what to help them whether to ease their pain or end it. I could write a book concerning our 20 plus years of love and care, but instead do yourself a favor and your babies go to this man.

630 E School St, Lake CharlesIt has taken me a little bit longer to write this overdue review because I was grieving the loss of my Ginger. Lake Area Animal Hospital was a blessing to me as to why my cat was so sick. I had taken her to a few other vet clinics with no actual answers but added medications. I just wanted answers to what was wrong with her. Even though the drive was over an hour from my home I didn't mind. From the moment I called to get Ginger in, until I left with my heart broken I had the best experience here. My heart broken because the news of my cat not being able to survive was devastating. But finally, I received answers. A few days later I received a card from this hospital with uplifting words from everyone. I cried and so full of emotions but thought this was such a caring thing to do. Thank you so much Dr. Hicks and everyone! Your hospital is where I want to continue to bring my little furbabies! Blessings to you all for what you do for families!

I tried the harvest quiche and it was outstanding. There were so many quiche options and the counter featured real viennoiserie. If you're from the area and want a Paris-style café experience that rivals anything in New Orleans, try The Bekery.

The service was very good and then knowing I am new to the place they made recommendations on what I can get and they were spot on. Only reason I give 4 stars out of 5 was because there was no meat but the taste definitely out weighed the fact it didn't have it.

I order from this place very frequently and I just love the food BUT most of the time, I do not receive the food I ordered or it is made incorrectly. I have tried many sandwiches based on the fact that they send me the wrong one so I am trying a new sandwich apart from the one I actually ordered. While they have all been delicious, it would be great to get ONE order sent to me the exact way I ordered it. I don’t always have the convenience of driving to the restaurant on my own to pick up so I rely heavily on online ordering, like most hard working moms do! Just a side note, today I tried the little Italy breakfast sandwich and it was awesome, my tea was missing the almond milk, and lastly I got the roasted carrot tahini grain bowl, which is always amazing.

Waitress kept forgetting things but that happens. We still enjoyed our visit. If you enjoy eating outside on a balcony, that option is available looking at the lake.
