2424 Fruge St, Lake Charles“Friendly people. Great help.At the time that is how I felt then. Now, not so much, if it wasn't for David in the pantry, it be hard to say a good thing about this place. Sure, I got help before, gas cards, partial reimbursement on my gas to get to appointments, Dr., lab. Then they say they broke, so no more gas cards. The only help I ask for, they stop that. I'll still go visit David, now and then, but even with pantry, it won't be every month.”

603 Pujo St, Lake Charles“This is a great place to get services unique to certain members of the community that they may not be able to find anywhere else. The staff here is very compassionate, understanding and can direct you to others who can give you a high level of health care. If you are interested in the services this place offers definitely stop in and check them out or give them a phone call. They will be happy to answer any questions you may have.”

“Most patient and caring people I've ever dealt with! I was not pushed for anything or made to feel uncomfortable or unwanted. Great thanks to Mr. Citizen and Ms. Moton!”
“Going to Goodwill was nice. Myself and my cousin was able to browse around( with mask on of course) and see if anything that our attention. I found a cute lil doggy statue that I had to get. The price was Great. Looking forward to the next visit here at Goodwill. Love my trash can that I purchased for $4.00.”
“Pastor Leona Benoit, and her staff, was very kind, and helpful to me. I would recommend this shelter to any one needing help. If she can not help you she will contact some one who can assist you.”
“A HUGE source of support, love, and essential services such as a Medicaid sign up booth for those in need of health care and a food bank for those in need of food for themselves and their families. On Thursdays, they even provide a pop up with local volunteers from Louisiana health education for citizens in need of addiction counseling and harm reduction. This is incredibly important, as the entire area has been harmed by the introduction of harmful and deadly substances. Stay informed! This establishment has helped Southwest Louisiana for decades and is one of the few places left who truly care for the community of Lake Charles, LA and ALL of its' citizens.Cannot recommend this place enough! The volunteers are compassionate and caring. Highly, highly recommend!”
