Look, you can get cigars from many places in the area but what keeps people coming back are prices, product and service. Cigar Club my friend has all three. Nigel and Lauren greeted me as-soon-as I walked in, answered my numerous questions as a beginner and is full of helpful advice. He is just a super cool guy all around. Thank you again Nigel, see yall soon!

I write this review with a heavy heart. Cigar Club used to be my favorite place in Lake Charles. There was nothing quite like a night out with the boys that began with supper and beers at Mcfarlane's and ended with cigars and scotch at Cigar Club. Sadly, an experience like this is not possible any longer, because they close at 7 PM now, and they shut the bar down back in 2020 due to covid restrictions and never opened it back up. What prompted this review, however, is a different story. The other day, a friend and I had met there for cigars at around 4 PM. While we were there smoking, one of the owners had brough pizza for everyone there and told us to have some. We heard there was a football game later that evening, that started around 7:20 PM. We were both under the impression that we would be free to stay and enjoy the game with the others who were there. Apparently we were mistaken. At 7 PM sharp, one of the employees came up to us in a room full of other people and asked us to leave because it was closing time. We felt singled out and embarrassed. This was the last straw for me. I've been a loyal customer for 12 years, but I don't think I'll be returning. For me, it was never about the cigars. It was about the interesting people I met and the conversations I had. This place is only a shell of what it used to be. It was good while it lasted.

Drove 40 minutes out of the way while we were on vacation. The guy working the counter was extremely rude and not knowledgeable. Sorry we bothered you by coming in. It's to bad they had a decent selection and was easy to find.
