“I recently broke down on I-10 in Lake Charles, driving a vehicle to Florida that I had just purchased in Texas. Requiring a tow as a result of the alternator failing, I needed to get a new alternator for a rare 1996 Chevy Van/Bus, as well as the repair be completed as soon as possible, as I was in a true emergency situation. Every store that was called in the area by the mechanic performing the work, said it would be a day or two with no real guarantee or assurance of it's arrival because the alternator came from a parts warehouse in Houston, 132 miles away.

I called O'Reilly Auto Parts at 11:47am to see if they might have the part on-hand and they stated they didn't but, they guaranteed me that they would have the part at their location by 2:30pm if I needed it to be. Utilizing their distribution network of drivers, an alternator was immediately located and delivered to the store closest to me at Nelson Road in Lake Charles, Louisiana for 2:30pm and I picked it up and brought it back to the mechanic to have it installed. I was on the road back to Florida by 6pm.

I can't thank the staff enough at this location for coming through for me during this truly emergency situation and for making sure the customer always comes first!! “The place for everything vehicle based. I go to the location on Prien Lake road directly in front of 1st avenue and Prien Lake junction (T) in the road . Knowledgeable staff and very selective choices when you have the items you need pulled up on the computer system to choose from. Get lots of monthly discounts for purchasing whatever when you become a member of the rewards program available to everyone interested. My neighbor has his own mechanic business, and he deals with this location exclusively for all the parts he ever needs, and they will deliver parts too, (and quickly). Like the atmosphere and I'll be a customer for as long as they keep that location in business”
