I visited your location on Saturday September 21, 2024. I was trying to have a tasting of an Irish whiskey that sparked my interest. I showed my ID, mind you I am a 26 year old Asian so I understand that I look younger than I am, and the employee, Ryker, told me I had to get my husband to be with me, who was somewhere else in the store and had not been with me since we stepped into the store, to see his ID. There were other customers that were waiting to have a tasting for Ryker’s booth and were at shock when this occurred. When I asked him why I need to get my husband, he stated it was store policy but failed to do the same to other customers that were waiting in line. Once I found my husband and he showed his ID, my husband also asked and that was the same response. This was between 1 PM and 2 PM. At that moment there were about 5-8 customers that were nearby. I also mentioned to him about Louisiana drinking laws when individuals are married. He ended up making up false information where customers stood by and were in shock and some tried to correct him. Not to mention, I tasted another item at another tasting spot who handed my tasting item after I showed my ID without any issues.

Slow slow slow. How many people does it take to check people out. 4 per line apparently!
It took about 20 people to be in line for them to open more than one register. After those of us in line were in line for 10min as 3rd in line.

I would expect a place like this to have a better or more selection than small places.
Like Nocello... Total wine has not had this in stock for about a year I think.
I use it in one of my coffee drinks and just recently found it in Rouses! I really think that's weird but oh well at least I found it.
Having said that I still visit regularly to purchase most of the things I need.
Edit: I'd love a bottle of Eagle Rare for less than $90, but you let poachers buy those bottles honestly before it's available for the public. Maybe not let them do that....

Total Wine & More is off the chart, anything that you could want from pricing and selections. To be honest all of the store are the same. Professional staff that know the products, cleanliness of the store is excellent and pricing is always the best plus you can get points once you have signed up.

The prices are wonderful and employees are super helpful with suggestions based on what you were hoping for or something previously you enjoyed. I am definitely a frequent visitor and with the delivery option it makes things even more easy.
