This hotel is in a great spot of downtown Lafayette. There are great staff members such as Ms. Romona and Mr. Steven. Whomever the lady was at the front counter on the evening of New Years Eve, she was a complete prude. My friends and I have been attending The Juliet for about 4 years now on New Years Eve and have loved it ever since, however with this employee she made us feel as though we shouldn’t have been here and we were an inconvenience. This employee felt as though we were disturbing the peace and even called law enforcement on my friends and I. Once the law enforcement showed up, they came to our room and held a conversation with us. The police realized nothing was wrong and left the room without anything being done. Later during the night, a friend and I had to walk to the car to get everything we needed to stay the night. We got to the front counter and she exclaimed that we needed to use the back door and it would only work unless we had a room key because the front door was locked, she was very rude about it. We got back to the room and everything was fine. It was just the fact that we have never been treated like this by any employee of the Juliet. Towards the end of the night the employee made us feel as though it was a chore for her to be working at the hotel. This woman is clearly upset with something going on in her personal life as takes it out on her customers which is very unprofessional. Ms. Ramona has always showed us nothing but the best of customer service, props to her.Walkability: My friends and I rented a suite at Rock N Bowl across the street.

The Juliet is such a wonderful hotel! Me and my wife really had a comfortable stay here. One of the workers named Alivia was the absolute best, she was welcoming and sweet and made the whole stay much more enjoyable. I highly recommend the stay and hospitality for anyone here!

This place has gone downhill significantly. Furnishings in the hotel are worn and need updating. The delightful Manager, Stephen, who made our previous experience so wonderful, is unfortunately no longer there. There were issues with the water which leads me to believe the pipes were not good. Not good pipe at all!

Well, let’s start with the good because there isn’t much. It’s in downtown. Now for the bad, stained floors, ratty & stained linen, broken window, broken towel holder, hard water stains, burn marks on the tub. This place is a dump.

Love this place! It's location is the best, and it's quirky... if you don't like that then you might prefer a big chain instead, but I find it to be an endearing locale. Glad they made it through the pandemic!

rooms are nice with plenty of furniture to organize your stuff, great location, nice staff, the bathtub is HUGE, AND THE BATHROOM ACTUALLY HAS A LATCHING DOOR!!! my only gripe is the sink is outside the bathroom so you have to touch the doorknob before washing your hands... what sense does that make???? and unfortunately we had a street facing room so vehicles with loud engines woke me and there was constant door slamming in the morning that even shook the room... and definitely don't get a room near the ice machine.... so ridiculously loud.....

Took a quick weekend trip with my sweetie and we were both extremely impressed with the quality and location. Only a 3 minute walk to one of my favorite restaurants (Pamplona Tapas!). Comfortable bed, clean room and the tub was a HUGE plus! Will absolutely be returning!

The #1 thing that matters in a hotel room is how nice is the bathtub. This is the best bathtub I've seen east of the Cascades and Sierra Nevada, and when I mean east I'm talking through Canada, Ireland, the U.K., and the Netherlands. I've spent months of my life staying in hotels, and not a single other one, except on the U.S. West Coast, has bathtubs this nice. They are huge! The location is superb. A great bakery, ice cream shop, and restaurants right there, like no walk at all.The staff is kind and accommodating. It is a sweet boutique hotel that is very worth visiting. We've stayed there at least 4 times. The complementary room service breakfast is delicious.Next time I'm near the Atchafalaya, I plan to visit this hotel, and I hope it's soon.

Staff was very courteous! We were very well taken care of, even pampered i would say. Our entire family was very relaxed when we departed and didn’t want to leave. Beds were very comfortable and the hot tub and steam room were a big plus for me. We will be back for sure. Downtown Lafayette has so much to offer.

Wonderful service, Wonderful stay. When checking in they asked what the occasion was and I said wedding anniversary. They gave us breakfast vouchers for our entire stay. Everytime we left the room I noticed they had been in doing room service. Great parking, great disability accessibility. Nice small staff.

We LOVE The Juliet Hotel. You can’t beat the location. This place has such character.. the antique feel mixed with some modern touches makes it such a unique experience. We look forward to a night on the Lafayette strip and know that we will be treated well and sleep comfortably here!

The location is perfect for downtown Lafayette and if you have a student that's attending ULL like I do, it's ideal. My sole knock on the place is the carpeting throughout the hotel, especially from the pool area (inside the hotel by the door that accesses the pool). There shouldn't be any carpet in that area as it gets messed up and smelly and very costly to continue to get cleaned properly. Also, if you are not into older Spanish/French architecture, the place may seem creepy to you. Remember, artwork is a matter of perspective, so keep that in mind as you see the decor, hangings, art pieces and furniture that you are in an area of the country that has lots of Cajun, Creole, Afro and Native American influences.I will visit again and highly recommend others to stay!

Loved the location. It was a great re-imagining of an older building. Very comfortable rooms and extremely friendly hosts. I will stay there again the next time I am in town.

Pros:- Great location - downtown Lafayette is walking distance- Quaint Local Décor and atmosphere- Friendly staffCons:- Dirty - our floors were stained, bathroom didn't look clean when we checked in. Odors were masked by a clean laundry smell.- Outdated - rooms are not well equipped, TV is old, fridge had cosmetic damage. Elevator had no certification (yikes!) and made a lot of noise carrying us up/down.- Disrepair - our room's floors were ripped in places, and the HVAC system control panel was broken. We weren't able to operate it during our stay and were lucky we didn't freeze (overnight low of 27F!) Loose wires on the window unit so we were forced to shut it off.- No bath towels in our room, we had to ask for them.Overall, lots to improve upon considering the price is almost that of at stay at one of the several Hilton's in the area. I appreciate the 'local' atmosphere and the friendly staff, and I don't want to hurt small businesses, but we were disappointed, hopefully they can divert some of their profits to renovations.
