Emily Bertrand is the ABSOLUTE BEST salesperson at Sterling Hyundai, Lafayette, LA. I've visited her on many occasions, and am highly impressed with her customer service oriented attitude! She is extremely knowledgeable and uniquely qualified in her field of expertise--Vehicle sales! I WILL purchase my next vehicle from Emily Bertrand!

My recent visit to Sterling Hyundai for transmission fluid turned into a frustrating experience. When directed to the parts department, the representative attempted to sell me the wrong fluid. Thankfully, I double-checked as their recommendation wasn't compatible with my vehicle, potentially causing damage. This process alone took over 20 minutes.To add to the inconvenience, upon finally processing the transaction, they only had half of my order available. What should've been a simple purchase turned into a time-consuming and unpleasant ordeal. While the sales team is very helpful, the same could not be said for parts/service. Disappointing service overall.

Possibly the best car buying experience of my life (and I’m 61 yrs old). My sales agent (Jason Reviere) immediately earned my respect with his calm, friendly, and professional demeanor. I never felt pushed during the process. Great Sales Manager as well! Will do business there in the future.

After looking at other reviews, it seems most problems are with the service department. Some of the service department reviews go back to 6 months ago. It doesn't seem like anything has improved in 6 months. If I could've chosen 0 stars, I would have! My son brought in his 2020 Sonata Limited for, what seems to be, issues with sensor(s). The appointment was for 12:30. His service advisor was Trevor, and he told my son it would be 2-2.5 hours to diagnose the problem. He also said that he would call with findings, especially since we need to know if it's covered by the warranty. After waiting 4 hours, NO CALLS FROM SERVICE! We tried calling. THAT WAS A JOKE!! NOTHING BUT RUNAROUND!! At 5:30pm, after not getting any updates or diagnosis, he picked up his car and left. NO DIAGNOSTICS HAD BEEN DONE!! Ignoring your customers is bad for business. A simple update probably would have kept me for submitting this NEGATIVE review. Don't they realize when a vehicle is in the shop that the driver needs an update to make arrangements for alternate transportation?? Has this dealership ever heard of SERVICE AFTER THE SALE?? I don't care how good the sales department is. It's their job to be nice to you bc they want to make that sale. It's the reputation of the service department that will influence customer satisfaction and future purchases.

My whole experience at the Sterling Hyundai location was great. Rachel made buying a car so easy. Everyone was very kind and helpful each time I walked through the doors. I am very satisfied with my purchase!

My experience dealing with Sterling Hyundai was the best I’ve had buying a vehicle. My salesman, Leif Meche, went above and beyond to help me with every detail. There was no pressure and everything was explained along the way. I highly recommend Mr. Leif Meche to anyone looking to buy a vehicle, and Sterling Hyundai on Johnston Street in Lafayette is also an excellent facility with an extremely friendly staff.

My rating is for the service department. I really despise the fact that I purchased a hybrid Hyundai although I love my car so much… b/c no one wants to work on it. So for that reason alone I have to ALWAYS bring it back to the dealership. They never answer the phone; when your parts come in they do not reach out to you to do any sort of follow-ups. They give you the run around as well as tell you misinformation. Thankfully to their service manager Kelly she was able to turn my experience around a little bit but man I have to tell you … y’all need to do better! The communication from service advisor to the customer sucks! I had to pay $2300 to get my car repaired with them, me having to come up with the money already sucked but working with them throughout the last 3 weeks made it even worst. I’m praying for the day that I am able to trade my car in for another brand b/c this is not it … such a bad experience.

We had called other dealers but they didn't want to work with us. Just gave us the run around..Called Sterling Hyundai spoke to Scott explained what I was looking for. He listened and was understanding. Scott understood exactly what I wanted. He made it so easy and stress free. Went in he showed me the vehicle and right away I knew it was the one I wanted. Every one is so friendly. They treat you like family. They take care of you and work with you from start to finish. They literally go out of they're way to help.Just what I like no pressure sales. I will be a Sterling customer from this day forward. Thank you Scott & Sterling HYUNDAI Y'all are Awesome Very satisfied

The staff is very accommodating! I wanted a certain interior and exterior color combination. They found it and brought it in. I was impressed with the price and payments. And not least, my salesperson Allison was super informative about the tech and gadgets. We’ll for sure buy from her again!

I had an amazing experience throughout the whole buying process. I wanted a certain color exterior/interior palisade so it was ordered. My salesman Leif Meche kept me updated on tracking my vehicle. Once it arrived the buying process was a breeze. The dealership is very clean and in order. Leif took the time with us after to show us every detail about the vehicle. Leif is the perfect salesperson.

Probably the best dealership experience I could've asked for. Brent from Sales and Chris from financing were both so easy to work with. First time a dealership didn't try to cheat me into something or play games with me. Would highly recommend this dealership to anyone, was a complete pleasure.
