Crazy thing is I don’t run unless there are red and blue lights behind me but I am on my feet most of the time and Geaux Run has made that more comfortable and tolerable.”

“Stephen was very knowledgeable about the boots they have in the store. He did a 3D image of my feet and I explained what type of boots I needed and like. He matched my boots perfectly to my feet. I have always had issues with my feet and I was skeptical about them but I will say I’ve been wearing the boots he recommended for me just over 2 weeks and they are so comfortable. They fit my feet perfectly. They don’t hurt my ankles and my feet don’t feel like I’ve ran a marathon at the end of the day. “Hi, I am Anthony Simon. Hemline to me... here's an account:I missed week 6 of ABC's, The Bachelor. Matt James was doing his thing, so I had to watch it. This is when I asked Anna, an employee at Hemline Lafayette, to come watch. She came over in some bright Nikes and a vintage, Def Leppard shirt bought from Hemline. I knew it was one of her many Hemline outfits, and I don't have an eye for fashion, so I didn't point it out. This is where it gets good.My 45 year old, woke mom comes in and the following conversation happens:"Hey, OMG I love that shirt!!" - Mom"Wow! Thank you! I got it from Hemline!" - Anna"Oh wow, you shop there?" - Mom"Actually I work there!" - Anna"Oh really?? That's great! I love that shirt!" - Mom"Well we have a great selection" - AnnaThis then transcended into an hour and a half long conversation that went way over my head. In the end, my mom loves Hemline, my mom and Anna are besties, and I still didn't watch that episode of the Bachelor...”
“I've seen Shoe Carnival a million times, but never bothered to go in until about a month ago. Don't sleep on the Shoe Carnival!
Everything was great. They have a great selection for all your needs. Athletic, dress, work, casual. The whole family in one stop. (Well 3 stops for me, but that's another story.)
I was able to get work shoes for myself and all the kids new shoes for less than a pair of J's. The store was extremely well kept, everything was super easy to find. That's always nice when shopping with 3 kids.
The best part was the service. Every employee greeted me and made us feel welcome. They were knowledgeable about their products and promotions, and were genuinely helpful.
I definitely recommend Shoe Carnival to anyone looking to save some cash and get awesome kicks. I have my eye on some Chuck's so I'll definitely be going back soon. The employees were the best though, it's refreshing to get a consistent pleasant experience while shopping these days.”

“Good selection. Stopped in as I was going through the oarking lot to get to the light at Ambassador Caffery & Ridge Road. I saw the "Ariat" brand sign & stopped in. Good selection of name brand boots like Ariat, Justin, Dan Post, Laredo, & their brand Cody James, plus a few more. Retail store, but has that "old family owned cowboy store" feel.”

“So.. i wouldn't recommend going to the one in Lafayette they really don't have much at all to choose from. About 10-15 mins towards Baton Rouge from Lafayette is a town called Opelousas, and there is one by the Walmart that has way more stuff!.. definitely go there”

One was very friendly and helpful as I was getting Converse, the other lady had one of the most annoyed I had the audacity to be alive faces I've seen in a long time. “I have had planters fasciitis on my right foot since last Sept and have tried everything!! Podiatrist gave me special inserts, injection, nightly boot, stretch exercises, anti inflammatories, knee scooter and nothing really helped until I bought 4 pair of ARCH FIT Sketchers. It’s like night & day after only wearing for 2 days now. ??This is an FYI incase any if you have this issue. ? below are my 4 pair of Sketchers that I bought and plan on going get a couple more. I’m SOLD!!! ? Great & Helpful Staff at our Lafayette store.”

“Can not thank Riley enough. Although she was “thrown in” to my appointment while assisting with another appointment, she gave amazing service. She was patient, very helpful and made my experience memorable. She listened and understood my vision and ultimately helped me find my dream wedding dress. She asked about every detail in regards to my wedding and was so assisting in creating an entire look that complemented my dress. At the end when we rang the bell and said yes to the dress, she gave the kindest, sweetest, and most sincere wishes for me for my wedding and future..it literally made me tear up. Highlight of my first wedding dress experience. She was also very helpful after my appointment when it came to my bridesmaid dresses. I had two seperate appointments on the same day, two hours in between them, with two seperate consultants. I will say although it was a Saturday and VERY busy(people literally everywhere and on top of each other), our bridesmaid appointment did not run so smoothly. We had little to no help and a good bit of the time we waited around before someone even gave us any assistance with anything. When we did finally have someone assist us, we saw her once. I can’t even remember her name or even think she told us her name. Overall it was a good day and we walked away with my wedding dress and at most figured out my bridesmaids dress style and color. I feel if we would’ve had more assistance bridesmaid dresses would have been purchased as well.”
