I have heard such great things about this place from my daughters but had never actually tried it. Well on Monday while in town my oldest daughter was like let's grab lunch at Brynn & Maia's and I was like ok. It's not a eat in establishment you order and take it to go they only allow five people in at a time which I appreciate, when we arrived they only had 1 person standing outside. The wait inside was not bad at all which was great because that heat outside was not nice it was Hot, Hot. I ordered the red beans plate with the fried pork chop, it was just that red beans with sausage and turkey necks a bed of rice, sweet cornbread and a fried pork chop. Those beans was Bussin Bussin like my grandkids say meaning they were very good. They wasn't dry the texture was perfect and the flavor was amazing and that cornbread was so moist and buttery just how I like it. The pork chop could have been seasoned just a tad bit but let me tell you I ate everything in my to go plate it was so good I forgot to snap a picture but if you look through her pics on Instagram that's exactly how everything looked. I have to say whenever I'm in town I will always make my way to Brynn & Maia's definitely 5 stars.

I got a chance to give this place a try and wow, it was gooood. Even though I just got the beef tacos, it was so darn good. I definitely plan to come back and try different items on the menu!

Visited on a very rainy afternoon. Despite it raining pretty hard outside there was a fairly decent crowd today. Keep in mind this is a order and go type establishment. So despite there being a number of people waiting to place their order. The line moved fairly quickly and it really didn't take that long my order to be ready. It took between 10 to 15 minutes for my order to be ready after I placed it.I ended up getting the Yaki Mein ( $14 32 oz). Overall it was okay I did find it to be a little bit saltier than I like. But once I got home I was able to fix the salty issue. By adding some unsalted broth to it. That balanced it out and I was able to enjoy it. I will visit again and we'll try a different dish. The customer service was excellent.

Whew chile! Today was my first time being able to try this place. I had the smothered oxtails , with rice , Mac & cheese , and smothered cabbage. Everything was exquisite! The Mac & cheese had a sweet and spicy taste (not too spicy) it was very good. Never had Mac that tasted this way. The oxtails were very tender and nice size. Black owned and definitely worth the coins
