Not allowed drop off samples. Staff not wanting to be bothered. Want you to make an appointment and come back later. Obvious the staff try to run off customers to avoid work

I went to this quest center in Lafayette. I arrived late for my 11:30 appointment but only by 4 minutes. When I tried to check in on the tablet up front it said I was more than 10 minutes late and had to reschedule. There was no one manning the front desk so I tried again with the same error. No one came out to grab another client until 11:38 when I told her the issue she tried the tablet again and said that I was more than 10 minutes late. She looked at the clock saw it was 11:38 and I showed her my paperwork saying my appointment was for 11:30 and it has clearly not been more than 10 minutes. She said that there was nothing she could do. She said checked in the people before me so I was clearly lying and I could just reschedule if I wanted. I’ve been at this center before but I have never felt more embarrassed and dismissed than I did today. This is the only quest center in my town but I’d rather drive an hour to the next town over than be treated the way I was today. I walked out of the office today and I do not plan on going back. If that is the way they treat clients coming in then I would not want them anywhere near me with needles that could cause me harm.

Aside from zero customer service at the local location, Quest is not to be trusted. Results from a test came back with major errors. They were so off that my doc reordered the test for the next day. This time, the results were correct. It appears that they either made errors in the lab or mixed up my sample with someone else’s since the results were so different. Had this been a job requirement, I would have been fired! I paid for the first test, but I should not be responsible for the second test since it clearly shows errors on their part. I tried calling them, but I could not speak to anyone who could do anything. I searched online for emails for company executives, I wrote to them, but no one replied. I submitted the issue the Quest portal, no one answered. Now, they have turned this over to collections. I don’t want my credit ruined, so I don’t know what else to do but pay them, then sue them in small claims court. I doubt that they would hire an attorney to show up, so I hope to win.As far as the Lafayette location, there is NO customer service. There is literally no one at the reception desk. There is only a device similar to an iPad to check in. I’m skilled with technology, but what about older people who are not? There is also no way to speak to anyone at the local location by phone or even by going there! Between the total absence of customer service, **careless testing,** and refusal to be accountable for their mistakes, I really could not imagine that any lab could be worse than Quest.

Don’t waste your time going here to get blood work done.

Made an appointment, went in 30 mins earlier expecting to be seen early. Every person that signed in was called before me which was about 5 people. I had veen sitting there for over 30mins. They need to check in and service people as a first come first serve basis. Not one person was at the desk. I'm never going back there for any testing. The workers were not friendly at all.

No one is at the from desk and they do not answer the phone. This is a poorly run business. If they are willing to cut corners to make a extra buck. I would question their quality and safety.

The office closes at 4:30. My husband took of work and drove an hour and got there at 4:15. He was told they wouldn't see him after 4:10. What is the point? So 2 hours of work lost today plus 2 more when we have to come back

Went in for routine lab work for first time pregnancy. They were awesome. Making an appointment online was easy, checking in was quick and easy (scan a barcode from your email), staff was so friendly, facility was very clean. Wait time after check in was short (5 mins) and my entire appointment was like 15 mins. They took care of me quickly! I HATE needles and blood but the lady helping me obviously knew what she was doing and my experience was painless. She conversed with me the whole time, made me very comfortable, and I didn't feel a thing. This is the first time I have had blood drawn and NOT passed out! Because they accommodated me lying down. Highly recommend this location.

Had difficulty finding the place and was more than 10 minutes late to my 4:00 appointment. The ladies there were very kind to still see me before they closed. Live 2 hours away so it would have been very inconvenient to come back another day!

Walk-ins should expect to wait over an hour. Make sure you don’t need to be anywhere for a specific time after you go. Appointments should expect to wait equally as long. Horrible process that needs to be reevaluated to see why only one person is called every half hour. The emergency room moves faster then these people.
